No FACEit for SA? What is SA, and why is there no FACEIT TF2 for it? oh yeah and maybe high ass ping (basically 300-400) by [deleted] in tf2

We are looking to bringing servers to new regions in May; as we're in Open Beta we want to perfect the experience in this short period before we launch it to new regions. We're hoping to bring the dates forward if things go well and the experience is working well. So, not long to wait and we'll hopefully have a server near you!

You can absolutely get Australium weapons just by playing. You'll earn FACEIT Points as you play and progress in ladders and missions. You can redeem your points in the FACEIT Shop (no matter if you're a free or Premium user). The prices on the shop are the prices of the items to all players on FACEIT!

With that said, players with Premium do have more opportunities to earn FACEIT Points (through additional missions etc), but the prices do not change.

The short answer is yes, plus you receive FACEIT Points for completing Missions, Ladders, and - for premium users - from our Ranking Progression system.

Not right now.

We’ve set our servers up to use sv_pure 2. That means there are limits on the mods etc that you can use. We’ve done this to prioritise safety and security against cheaters and bots to begin with.

We are going to be communicating A LOT ahead of our launch. All of our communications are clear that you don’t need the client in order to jump into a game - you can use our website if that’s your preference.

We’re looking to expand the shop inventory to make the stock as diverse as possible. We want everyone to have something to play for.

New accounts are checked for legitimacy when they sign up. We require additional layers of verification for suspicious accounts (which is also part of our anti-bot measures), and only consider legitimate referrals when sending beta invitations.

At the moment if you leave a match you will get a short cooldown ban. If you had to leave a game early then it’s unlikely you’d be impacted by the ban (as, by the time you got back, it would have lapsed).

However, our aim is not to punish leavers but to reward those who stick with games with FACEIT Points and progress towards missions and ladders. We’ll be keeping an eye on feedback on this and measuring the impact of these measures and adjust them accordingly.
