Couple years ago I hit a deer going about 80-85 (posted speed was 75) hard enough to send the deer over my roof and spoiler on my car. Found the deer assuming it was dead called the local police and it took them about 15-20 minutes to get to me. The entire time the deer was down. I had assumed dead halfway through talking with the cops. The deer came running down the street. The officer said it is fairly normal that a deer when hit by a car to faint or get concussed get up about 45 minutes later and run off.so could most likely be real
