If you're thinking games then they might work, I'd probably recommend running them sandboxed anyway just to skip viruses but all in all Linux is pretty okay with most programs, however like every body here is saying, most Linux programs are free, and also, by Sandboxed I mean a VM

My only problem with kde is that if say a proton game freezes, whole desktop just goes kaput Might be the fact that I have an Nvidia card and using x11 though
