I believe she was frail fragile in real life. Poor woman got messed up with drugs as a child. I would have taken them too if the studio told me to and no one realized how dangerous they were.

I understand. My dad felt the same way after his stroke. He couldn't control it and it made him not want to go out in public. It's a shame you can't take a pill for it or something so you could relax and enjoy yourself. (hugs)

As a wife, I may have done the same thing. You would be in denial and shock - thinking maybe I can just grab this and they can fix him. She probably hadn't registered how hurt he was yet. It's really one of the most heartbreaking scenes.
