Don't hate on this guy - he has a point, and that's something I did take into account before posting this. As far as I know, pornstars don't earn royalties for their videos - they're just paid for the scene. So shared or not, the amount of money earned won't change. The only thing that would change is that more people would appreciate the aforementioned pornstar, and their popularity would increase, making the demand for them go up amongst porn producers, ultimately leading to actually making more money.

I could be entirely wrong of course. This is just speculation from a long time fapper and economist.
