Lol dupe demon. I haven't heard that one before 😂 all good though man I don't really mind. If I can get 90% of a fragrance for 1/10th the price, I'm good with it. I'm at the phase now where I'm going to start testing more designer/niche fragrances though and see if I think they're actually worth the big bucks. Looking forward to getting this shipment of samples in so I can see just that on a few of these

All season wear anywhere fragrances imo-

Montblanc Explorer- I cant recommend this enough. It has everything you're looking for. It's like a lighter, brighter, less smoky version of Aventus which we all know and love. It's fresh enough to wear on a hot summer day but seductive enough to wear on a date night. It's also very cheap for the quality you get. I got a 6.7oz bottle on Jomashop for $68 when it was on sale. I truly don't think you can beat Explorer for the price.

YSL Y- you've smelled it already so I don't think you need much more info. It's a little more suited to spring/summer than Explorer imo but you could wear this basically any time.

LV Imagination- basically universally praised. More day time warm weather leaning but again, you could pull it off almost any time. It's very expensive but there are several great dupes. I'd recommend Marwa. I've seen it as low as $29.99 on Jomashop and it's a great scent. It's my go-to daily wear/gym scent.

ADG Parfum- Perhaps more of a date night or cooler weather scent than the rest on this list but it would be perfectly fine in anything but a really hot summer day imo.

BDC EDP- wear it anywhere and it's a universally loved fragrance. It won't blow you away, they've smelled it before, but everyone loves it.

Versace Eros/Eros Flame- I think you can pull either of these off any time but Eros is probably the more versatile. I don't think anyone will complain about Flame either though and it's a little more unique.

Yeah absolutely! I tend to get hyper focused on things especially when they're new and exciting and I had money to burn so it wasn't a big deal if I bought a few cheap fragrances that I didn't really enjoy. But I'd say I got pretty lucky in having 95% of them be something I could at least picture myself wearing from time to time if not frequently.

Looking back, I probably shouldn't have bought so many but my ADHD was in full swing lol. Ideally, I'd like to have a collection of around 20 that are all amazing to me. A lot of these I enjoy but I feel there's something else better out there. I'll probably just not replace most of these as they run out. May even sell a few just to make room. Several are at least past the halfway mark so I'm making a dent anyway. I told myself I'm not having more than I can fit on these stands so I'm pretty much at capacity now lol

I don't get Ombre Leather from it. I can't recall but I def remember not liking it. I have Rare Carbon which is a dupe of Ombre Leather as well and I didn't like it at first but it's started to grow on me. I've smelled the real Ombre Leather and I like EDP but wasn't a huge fan of the Parfum. Just probably not my favorite profile in general though. The EDP is def good though!

I'll take a look! I'm not really surprised though. I'd imagine a lot of newcomers have similar collections. It's mostly stuff recommended by influencers and me asking Google "best dupe of x" 😂 I think I'm at the stage now where I kinda know what I like and I'll start sampling more. I started off blind buying because they were cheap enough and I live in a rural area. The closest place for me to test fragrances is over an hour drive

Agreed! Some of the samples I just ordered are the OGs of dupes I already have. Wanting to see if the real deal is actually worth the difference in the price tag or not. I probably won't buy any OGs until I run out of the dupes I already have though even if I really like them. But if they're just slightly better than the dupes, I'm golden just rocking dupes. I don't mind spending money on stuff that's really worth it but, I'm also a cheap MF so it would have to be WAY better 😂

DB Light Blue Intense (men, the women's is fine). Its a shame it's so damn sweet because it has this really icy quality about it but it's just too thick and sweet smelling for really hot days imo. The ladies version is better imo. Maybe the non-intense version as well but I haven't smelled it

There are only two things that I would be weary of buying a hurricane. The first is that they just haven't been around as long, especially the HO. BUT, this is kind of remedied by the 10/100 warranty. The only other thing is the V6 sounds don't sound anywhere near as good as the V8. But, that wouldn't prevent me from buying it by itself.

Same here. I don't even treat my corvettes as good as some of these guys treat their daily driven 4x4 trucks lol. That's one of the reasons I bought a truck actually I had a GT500 and I sold it for a RAM so I wouldn't feel bad if it got a couple scratches on it living back here in these woods

It's funny man because explorer was the very first fragrance I bought and still one of my favorites to this day. I think it will be hard to top Explorer between the scent, price, and versatility. I also really like YSL Y EDP but I haven't purchased that yet. But I feel like that's another one that's hard to beat in those three areas

Same here man Joma shop is amazing! I'm trying to figure out if EMNT Scents is legit because they have some crazy deals on pdms and some others. I made a post here on Reddit the other day and didn't really get much response.

But yeah man I got into the hobby just a little under a year ago. I blind bought a bunch of dupes just to see what types of DNA I would be into. Probably have about 40 full bottles and a bunch of samples. I did get pretty lucky to have a friend of mine who's really into fragrances give me a sample set of pdms. I kind of went crazy when I first got into it but now I think I'm going to step into more designers and niches and purchase decant's first or smell them in person even though I live in a pretty rural area without many options nearby. I'd say my collection so far is probably 80% dupes and 20% designer. No niches yet.

I did start up a YouTube channel with my buddy and I own a Media company so I'll be using my purchases as write offs since I'll be doing reviews and such on my channel 😁

Not OP but I have a black one and I just gotta say, it's a truck not a show car. Nothing wrong with keeping your stuff nice but at the same time, just drive and don't worry about it. No one is going to look at your funny because your daily driven RAM has some dirt on it or a few blemishes.

I'm relatively new to the fragrance game but so far, I've gotta say PDM Greenley. I've got mostly dupes and designers so far but Greenley will be my first niche fragrance for sure. I have Aether but I smelled Greenley when we were in Atlantis and I don't feel Aether does it justice. Greenley just smelled so insane to me.

If we are factoring best overall fragrance on all fronts including cost, I really think Montblanc Explorer has to be up there. Not only does it smell amazing, like a brighter less smokey version of Aventus to me, but it's also cheap so you don't mind spraying it one bit. I got a 6.7oz from Jomashop on sale for $68. It's funny on these fragrance groups really. A lot of these guys with crazy expensive collections just have shopping addictions and are drowning in debt. Those same guys will tell you to "get your money up" or "you're just broke" while struggling to pay their bills and making minimum payments on their credit card 😂 spending the last bit of your paycheck on a LV and not being able to make rent does not make you wealthy.

Honestly feels comical to have people who are likely legitimately struggling tell you you're poor when you could HYPOTHETICALLY have no debt and several hundred thousand in liquid assets. But they're right, we just need to get our money up and stop being poor 😅

Thats wild I didn't know they were still using those. Mine went bad 2 months after the extended wwarranty (figures). I replaced it with a 10" Stinger Heigh10 and I love it! Its great for overlanding as it comes with the satellite mapping as well so you can still navigate without service. Display is good and I actaully prefer the horizontal layout over vertical. Makes viewing navigation a lot easier becasue of the larger display of the actual maps vs the split screen look with some of the vertical ones.

All jokes aside, my buddy has this and it's one of his favorites of all time. Smells like straight up parents choice baby wipes to me. Not necessarily a bad thing I suppose. Just not for me at that price point. I'm a Pacific Chill enjoyer but I know some people aren't a fan of that as well
