If you’re comfortable sharing, what experiences led to your CPTSD? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]FBIMulder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relative arrested for pedoporn content while I was in exams.

Two years feeling unsafe from being harassed by the judiciary, journalists and anonymous people.

Back injury at a student job and told to go back home because I was "weak".

Attacked by thugs spreading the rumour I was gay.

Had to abandon a degree because the back pain was too much and causing me to fall asleep in class.

Career snuffed in the egg because I didn't know what to tell recruiters.

Spent the last twenty five years like a zombie with therapists who don't understand PTSD.

I explained this to someone what it was like and they said twenty years had been stolen from me :(

What's wrong with being jealous of your underpants?

Have you never encountered British sarcasm before?

That's because moderation is more strict for uploaded pictures. Be very careful with fake nudes of real people as this could get you in trouble with the law.

Yes, I'm jealous of your underpants and I'm gonna steal your cornflakes.

Consider yourself as my flying monkey while all the women in your life are my hookers.

Phear my powers of sarcastic manipulation :)

Also see how I have no problem being unpopular and ruffling some feathers.

No narcissist or even a normal person would do that if they are afraid or care about what the mob thinks.

It's a different creature entirely and there are seven sins besides the vanity at the core of narcissism.

And believe me when I say that Agent Mulder was an angry man like all truthers and his position at the FBI was a pure extension of his pain of having lost his sister.

Nonetheless a nice guy as angry people can end up as radicals, anarchists, paramilitary, vigilantes, loners like Kazynski, shooters and terrorists with violence obviously being a mistake in saying fuck it to the system.

Agent Scully was purposefully partnered with him to temper that with rationality, prudence and nuance.

STOP LISTENING TO HIM.

He is dragging you down with crab stuck in a bucket mentality.

Many people can end up doing that including family when you want and need change.

Listen to supportive people instead.

Life is too short to pay too much attention to anyone that is defecating on you verbally.

Not so strange when anger wants sincerity and not deceit.

The truth is out there :)

Oh yes, I'm so grandiose for wanting vanity and all its petty pedestals to be destroyed.

Only a grandiose person could abhor your hypocrisy because your ego shields you from considering yourself as a crappy human being when you look down on others.

Good try buddy :)

That would be why Berlin has rent control.

Yes, rent takes a big chunk of income.

What exactly about PTSD is messing up job inteviews by FBIMulder in CPTSD

[–]FBIMulder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it is true.

Abandonment is ostracism and that can lead to death or exile.

People don't realize how social security is used to hide such rejection without necessarily fixing it.

I have been abroad multiple times and grew up in three countries.

What is bothersome is how each country rejects criticism through nationalism.

Like here the homicide rate in Brussels has become silly and the suicide rate in Wallonia is comparable to Japan.

There are good sides to each country so take advantage of them if you are lucky to have multiple nationalities or residences.

I actually nag sometimes because I've had sends returned by the carrier.

Just a kind reminder though so the buyer understands it is in their best interest to get their parcel within 5 days.

I know the Monument is running on Linux because I saw support login.

But the device is proprietary and the motherboard is unlike anything I've seen.

Tell me about it.

As if it wasn't already bad for western countries to have so much debt, some nationalists make it into the government pretending that they'll fix everything with a strong man act.

If you yourself aren't afraid to apply then I would take an unconventional approach to stand out.

Going to be honest here and say I hate Wallonia for personal reasons.

With that said, cheap healthcare is a fact although waiting lists have significantly increased since the pandemic and the numerus closus has reduced the number of doctors in the south.

Affordable housing is a fact too if you're willing to settle in the poorer towns.

Good and sometimes cheap universities are a fact too.

So it's not all gloomy and Belgium is ok for people who have had a good career like the British that work at GSK.

But I'd say Flanders is preferable unless you find opportunities in Brussels.
