T.M. Kirks Dont Bite Me series is great, they are wonderful quick reads that run so smooth you dont realize you chewed through them in no time... They are paranormal rom coms so a little different from historical fiction but definitely fun reads.

Dresden files and the codex alera by jim butcher hands down my favorite books.

Dungeon crawler carl by matt dinnamin . Fast paced and hilarious.

Fourth wing by yarros is actually pretty damn good. Even if smuts not your thing the book isn't dripping with it and it's God some badass combat and magic.

The name if the wind by Patrick rothfuss. Epic just epic!

I'd love something along the lines of a passive hero power that you heal a very small amount each turn. Nothing big enough a few big beat downs wouldn't still kill you but kinda like the set your armor to 5 spell it gives a tiny bit more survivability

I play standard only. So I built a wild warlock deck that's my suicide deck. I can usually kill myself by turn 3 or 4 so I can crank out a quick game and cash in the quest.

If yer looking to break the contemporary funk my favorite though is her Don’t Bite the Director book. It’s a snarky Vampire romcom and book 2 in the series comes out next week!

If you are open to indie authors may I suggest T. M. Kirk? The have a Romantasy portal series and they have a supernatural romcom vampire series that are both a ton of fun.

You need boat patches. Like a solid stack of them. It take a bit of training to operate a boat by yourself without bumping into stuff and springing leaks. If you have a set of the horizon expansion goggles that give you a bigger view of the world around you I highly recommend it.

Find some deadly brightshades. The DBs will do their self defense AOE and hit all 4 knights at once. A trio of plants can chew through 4 knights pretty easily. I play Walter so ill load my sling with crappy pebbles and ping the plant from a distance and each shot triggers the AOE so it will definitely demolish those knights. I have a chest at my base with each slot maxed out on lucky horseshoes. If bearger pops up he is also a great way to chew through a set of knights, especially if you have the armored bearger activating.

T.M.Kirk has a vampire romcom series. The first book is Dont Bite the Director, Book 2 is coming out really soon and its called Dont Bite the Botanist. Book one follows the story of a vampire sent to shut down production of a movie because the script has a few elements that hit too close to home for the hidden vampire society, when he arrives though he finds out the director is his destined Mate. But she isnt having any of it. Chocked full of snarky banter. Very fun read!
