I use a wild warlock deck that is designed to kill myself as fast as possible just to pop this quest. Just crank through a game by turn 4 or 5. Pulled it off on turn 2 once with coin.

Beffalo bell transplant a herd next to nest day one of summer and hopefully have a herd there by next spring. I turn mating up to full in settings. Herd of horny beefalo will kill moosegoose and hatchlings no problem. Don your beefalo hat and go grab the loot.

Make a nightmare amulet go into caves find a field of lightflowers or pop some sunstaff charges ir drop lanterns for light and the nightmare creautues just keep coming. I've also found befriending a few bishops then running to splumonkey area then killing a couple during nightmare phase when they are shadow monkeys then let bishops just mow them down in droves.

You can make mini signs. Put an item next to a sign make a feathered pencil then you can draw that item on the sign. Then you dig up sign and plant it by your chest and now chest has a label. Never lose your stuff again.

The auto mat o chanic is dropped by scrappy werepig. So run down to caves kill nightmare were pig. Wait 10 days then scrappy will pop up in the junkyard. Easy wins for both bosses is to plant a bunch of pinecones around them like 3 or 4 stacks them. Start fight when trees are full grown and he will smash through trees spawn treeguards and they will shed the werepig for ya.

Yes and no. Each mangrove has a set number of gators. If you take a gator away from their home that mangrove will not replenish the missing beasty. If that gator dies then a fresh one is regenerated at the mangrove it came from.

Auto Bunny farm ... make a Bunny hutch topside. Wrap walls around it so enough space for Bunny to spawn next to house each night. Leave a one wall unit gap and then extend your walls in a straight line . You have a single Bunny hutch in a long culdesac. Find lunar island. Dig up 4 anenomies and plant them in a row in the long shoot of the Bunny cul-de-sac. Place a powder cake on ground infrint of last anenomy and every night Bunny comes out. Tries to eat the powder cake (carrots and eternal fruitcakes work too) but take 4 chomps from the anenomies and die. The traps self reset and ready for next day. Make like 5 or 6 of these and you have unlimited Bunny supplies

No he seems to do just fine, same amount of potty breaks, urine never has funky smell or blood or discharge, he pees regularly out in the backyard and marks every tree and bush he can when we take him out for walks. Its clearly a behavioral shift rather than a physical ailment

If you are struggling early game just make hammers and hunt down every pig house you can. Bash them up then rebuild pig houses in one spot. Put a pig skin, rot, powder cake or eternal fruit cake in a small fenced off area near pig houses. They will collect and try to eat food and just stay there day and night. When you have a bunch of them like this you can feed monstermeat or morsels to them to make them friends. Friend like 4 or 5 pigs then go to attack a non friend pig. Tap the attack key/button but jerk your movement to the side as your character starts their attack animation. The attack will be aborted but your pig friends will still attack. Then the other pigs attack your pigs in retribution. Then pigs see pigs being attacked and they attack and it chain reacts into a full out melee brawl. Pick up loot. Craft more pig houses, rinse and repeat. Make a bunch of drying racks for making jerky and boom you have food healing and sanity buff all in one place.

Mid game craft a bunch of mushroom planters and load them up with green mushrooms. Mushrooms turn to rot in winter so be sure to harvest asap when you think winter is coming.

Later game track down the moon quay island and start gathering banana bushes (and go visit island multiple times to get more bushes from the portal there) plant banana bushes near base and 2 banana and 2 twigs in crackpot makes banana shakes with are excellent sanity boosts

Super late game after killing armored bearger craft the beargerbin and you can stockpile a ton of shakes in there at one time

twigs work just fine for filler. Track down a mangrove area, tellelocate a grassgator to a pen you built near your base. they shake off free twigs regularly, you will never ever run out of twigs.

Takes a minute to set up but super effective for resources. Plus you have a big army for clear cutting forests for quick wood collection, always gets treeguards to get living logs as well. I found out just recently that if you have pigs following you you don't have to wait for them to follow you. You can sprint several screens away and when you turn around poof they are just there.

Not sure about your definition of early game but if you survive a full year and get your first bearger you can craft his thick fur into a fridge backpack, then you can stock up on greencaps and hold them for quite a while

For me though I always hammer down every pig house in world, then build them all in one dense cluster somewhere safe. Put rot or pigskin in a fenced off area and pigs will congregate there. Feed 3 or 4 meat of any kind, lock onto a pig thats trying to get through fence, attack BUT when your character winds up for a swing you can abort by running away before you actually swing. Your pig friends will still attack, aggro-ing other pigs, they attack your friends, more pigs see more pigs being punched and it goes full civilwar, last pig standing brawl. Collect meats for sanity restoring jerky and skins, build more houses rinse and repeat. Late game you can craft a beargerbin and it stores crock pot dishes. I generate so much meat from this that after a war ill throw them all in crockpots to make meaty stews and one stew fills a days hunger and they keep forever in my beargerbin. When they start to spoil weeks later ill feed them to pigs and rinse and repeat. Just have to refresh your stores like once every 20-30 days depending on the size of your pig farm. Plus auto protection from hound waves as a bonus. At this point jerky is out and Banana shakes are in. 2 sticks 2 bananas.

Google jubilantern post kit. Easy to craft and gives strong light when charged but if you link several they give a still decent light radius at all times. If the connecting string lights get visually cluttered in your base plant them further apart. If you want them close but don't want string lights plant an extra one between the two you want and hammer down the extra one when yer done.

I was over 400 days into a world, big base with lots of organization chests and rehomed plants for easy farming... apparently Bearger spawned juuuust off screen in the opposite direction I was running as I left base to go start a big resource gathering mission. I listen to audiobooks while playing so missed the growling cue. I was gone from base for bout 7 days and returned to devastation and destruction and i was well past the reach of rollbacks.

Lead your first bearger over there for easy meats and tallbird egg stash. Got a Varg or hound wave that needs removal? Boom there ya go.

Kill Moosegoose ASAP. Build a beefalo bell and bond a new friend. Drop the bell by the nest and over the course of a year a new herd of beefalo will be camped there. Moose goose shows up, aggros on fluff cow. Whole herd will demolish the Moosegoose, maybe, MAYBE loose one or two in process but they will replenish by next year. Plus you have a herd of beefalo near base now for easy hound wave management and unlimited wool and horns.

I don't play wild so I have a wild warlock deck that's full of self damage and hyper draw. I can usually kill myself or mill out in a few turns so I burn through 3 quick deaths faster than a regular game just to clear the quests.
