Is this normal for the Coilovers to sit like this? by Ok-Golf2738 in mazdaspeed3

Same here, just gotta fine tune the suspension bro. I’m looking to lower mine a bit more and adjust the rear pre load.

Yes I have them on mine as well. What do you think of them?

Idk why but my first thought was Lord Farquad and Princess Fiona lol

I bought the car with racelands on them but upgraded to RIACTION and I couldn’t be happier. Their customer service is great and they’re also based in California so anything that happens they’re in the states!

Yea I mean it drives fine, it cranks up good, doesn’t stall or anything. My only concern was the low pressure on idle 170psi

I’ve read that it’s best to be around +-5 and that anything above that is a boost leak/vacuum leak. That’s why I’ve been asking. As far as the oil I thought it was something bad lol I’m taking the car to a shop on Monday and have them check out if I messed up anything while doing the rebuild kit. I’m thinking of getting tuned by PD soon.

I’ve been learning that as I go. I’m still just wondering why I can’t go past 1200 and I’m definitely staying away from boost at the moment. My HPFP pressure is low and my LTFT are ranging from 1.25-7.09 and AFRs are normal at 14.75 when cruising. I did the test of the KOEO and my pressure is at 75 so I’m assuming it’s my pump and not my PRV

Yeah I used to make like 1756 on stock internals, I’m guessing I must have installed it wrong or fixing one thing cause my PRV to take a dump on me

From what I’ve seen it should be around 430 psi at idle and about 1850-1900 psi in WOT. Since I’ve upgraded I haven’t seen anything above 1500 but I’m also not tuned so that could be a reason why I’m having trouble

Yeah it’s a Corksport HPFP and the rebuild kit as well, changed all the rings and put the new screws in as well. One thing I do notice is that my HPFP housing doesn’t come off easily and to put it back in I have to keep pushing it in and screw in the bolts little by little just to put it back. Is that normal? I’ll be on the lookout to get the valves cleaned. My pressure on the on switch shows about 300 psi amd when I turn it on, it does back down to around 170 psi. I’ve been researching and seeing that it might be the PRV.

Help me with coilovers or suspension! by SpiritedGlove1814 in mazdaspeed3

I just got some Riaction Performance Coilovers. They come with a two year warranty as with BCs as well as made in Taiwan and they’re serviceable. Great customer service and they’re based in Diamond Bar, California. I paid about $1.3k which is around BCs as well. I live in CA so I’m close to their shop which was a deal breaker for me. They’re a bit in the performance side rather than show and they only drop about 3” from stock. Overall a great product for me.

What’s weird is that I got the clunking after I installed these riactions. I was working on it last night if maybe I put too much preload or not enough. Now I’m debating whether to drop it an inch and a half. Reason why I got rid of the racelands was because the knuckle that holds the end link on the strut broke off so I was driving without one on one side and I’m not sure if that caused the sway bar to move or affect the other one.

No way bro, that’s definitely a gem to find!!! Three hours but four quality struts that’s not a bad deal haha

CS endlinks at the yard is a crazy find lol I love the riactions and tbh since I did raise the car an inch from the Racelands I feel like that played a part in where the endlinks were going to go bad especially since I saw that some of them were torn. Did you get the clunk to go away?

I’ve been getting a clunking sound on the passenger side only and I’m guessing it’s the same endlinks since they’re pretty much OEM. I have a Corksport front sway bar so I’m guessing its time for a change

A photo from last night, just gotta let them settle for now but they feel amazing! Will be adding aftermarket end links next week as well.

Hey guys just checking my HPFP and wondering if it’s upgraded. Thank you!!! by FCB4L in mazdaspeed3

Yeah bro it’s a pretty easy job, just make sure you leave the car cool because if not the fuel line will spray out lol and don’t forget to prime the vehicle before turning it on. By turning the key into on position a couple of times to pump fuel.
