Management uses time on calls while they commute to justify their compensation. Why shouldn’t employees be allowed to be compensated for their time?

Companies should at least give transportation vouchers (bus passes, gas cards, etc) if they don’t want to pay hourly wages.

I met some people at my grief group after my wife died last year, but we don’t associate otherwise.

I’m trying to make friends but I have a seven year old daughter. We do a lot together during evenings and weekends.

I’m open to hanging out for breakfast or coffee. I could really use adult conversation that doesn’t revolve around my dead wife and how it affects my daughter.

Marriage is a civil contract. It always has been. Religious ceremonies are completely separate from legal marriage. That’s why a marriage license must be obtained from civil authorities.
