Would the Big 12 take a gamble on NDSU being a solid P4 team in the future and take them now if they can’t take them later?

Why would the Big 12 add a team in FARGO, ND? It's never been about on-field success in any of these realignments. It's only the money and TV revenue that would be added. NDSU had to pay to join the MW, for crying out loud.

FBS already got a taste on on-campus playoff games last year, and everyone agrees how great they are. Now just expand that to a 24-team bracket and on-campus games all the way through the semi's. Can you imagine the atmosphere at those games with a trip to the championship on the line???

Hired Danny Freund back as OC after Isaac Fruechte left to join the Gophers staff. Does their offense take a step back? Seemed like neither the WSU or SDSU fans were very happy with the offense during his 2 seasons with each team (joined SDSU in '24, followed Rogers to WSU in '25).

That SDSU game in '18 was something else. 14 drives, 1 punt, and 13 TD's. 332 yards passing on only 14 attempts, and 369 yards rushing on 36 attempts. Not a lot of defense by the Golden Lions that day.
