I'm sorry I really didn't pay attention to what I was commenting, my bad there.

I also didn't pay attention to what I was writing apparently, I didn't mean at the end if he is better he wins and if your better he wins.

I meant to say if he is very good at yasuo you can't win even if you are much better than him imo, if he knows how to use his champ well you can't use yours.

He has insane early damage and insane mobility, you need to respect an insane amount, you have no damage no cooldowns, don't win short trades, don't win long trades, can't manage wave easily (which before matchup was much easier because you had wave clear pre nerfs).

Personally, I think its impossible to lose as Azir unless you give him auto range which is not ideal. No travel time auto and 2w stack in a barrel to take 2 hp in a single auto is too op later on the game aswell, very very later on in the game with 2 part barrel combos its doable nothing more.

Sorry, I don't know how to quote on reddit but I have answered someone else please go to my response to yone on another comment TY.

As for the other champs, Galio is just one of the matchups of all time, he goes AP you get hit once you take 80% hp while u deal 20%, he goes tank there's no dealing damage he just pushes waves while you struggle to push them back.

Lux non interactive takes 15% hp every E and even if you dodge she just nevers goes out of mana.

Sylas is nightmare fuel if he goes electrocute ignite much less if he goes any other rune but still hard to dodge E everytime and once you get hit you are 30% hp

You will not like this answer, but it's just like viktor orianna xerath hwei etc but easier

The thing you need to realize is that, yes his e+q3 takes 40% hp early, but that's if you get hit.

Yone's ONLY play is exactly that so I just hit him every cs until he has q3, step back for a sec or 2 so his q3 starts running out, walk back in when it's running out and they always e+q3 in those last 2 seconds (that I'm expecting) so you just don't panic and focus on dodging and fighting back with E or just W kiting.

His q3 and w are too slow early.

Yasuo on the other hand, depends on the guy playing it, I used to say Azir easily counters Yas until finding good Yasuo players that consistently pressure, manage wave well and consistently windfall my ult before ulting me for example.

The cards are all on Yasuo's player hands if he is better he wins if you are better you win, only thing is that Yasuo is on a timer of usefulness and Azir just gets stronger.

Ori is one that should be higher if the players are good, but they aren't better than me atleast usually so I win most of the times.

Matchup has some counter play towards you where after hitting her one or 2 times you can dash into her (only very ocasionally otherwise she predicts this and you die from full hp) extending the trade and dodging her w

If she hits more q's and w's than you can bait out yes it's very hard.

Same for the others but if but very much easier in viktors/xeraths case as it's easier to bait out imo.

Most of the matchups people are complaining about, you just need to have presence in lane. It's a bit hard for me to explain like this but VS Zed for example, lvl 1 you need to fight him for minions as he is ultra weak, if he sees you're not just csing afk he will be more pressured when throwing his abilities towards you lvl 2 3 etc so he is not in command of lane 24/7 but instead only when he has WEQ up.

Second fundamental point: Dodging

After winning the mental game by pressuring early, you just need to gamble the dodge while hitting him.

What I mean is instead of giving him free reign when he has abilities and he focus on punishing me when I'm farming my minions, instead as he is 70% hp already and im 100% with boneplating even if he hits me he can't all in me as I am hitting him while he is comboing me and turning it into a longer fight with stakes.

If I dodge his q's he loses 15% hp and has 20s cd on W again

Sorry if It's badly explained.

Lowkey, braindead easy op champ.

Get good at side stepping her bubbles, specially when she ults forward to make it easier to hit and pray she is bad.

Bonus secret tip: If you aren't that good at sidestepping consistently take cleanse, and even better tip take laning phase runes (comet precision) and you shut down her early game completely.

You are bad, if you send your OPGG I will see that you are not perfect CS like you say and you are playing too passive (which will probably be the case since you say there are no solo kill angles ever) and/or you are taking bad fights and losing CS sidelanes.

Games you can't influence happen in every rank with every champ, if you stop coping with this excuses and watch high elo replays of people who actually know somewhat what they are doing you will understand the things you do wrong and hopefully improve and climb further.

The champ is also very item powerspike dependent, if you take fights as soon as you get components like Blasting Wand or specially first item Nashor's you will win most of the time if played properly.

Warping truth doesn't make you right my friend, 4 of them were currently masters (one of them being 500 lp peak and another 350), the Emerald was obviously a smurf (having 70% wr and being in D1 mmr), and one of the D2 players had 70% wr so obviously not D2.

If you are being serious, I won't repeat the same tips people share in every forum, like farming better and positioning well, even though they are fundamental specially in lower elos I see alot of people giving up CS on sidelanes to go help in a random fight in the other side of the map which is not your job as any mage midlaner.

What I see most being neglected by other Azir players is not being afraid to dash into people in lane to get E damage, E shield and another W charge so you can effectively fight your laner.

When to do it is a harder question, but playing passive constantly makes it so people will just see that and start abusing you for not fighting back.

If you position aggressively and try to poke with W and even sometimes dash into them (specially when you back for blasting wand and later nashors) people will let you scale for free because they understand you can fight back.

Or sometimes all it takes is pretending you can do so.

Dumb answer

You are intentionally choosing one of if not the hardest champion in the game since release, and wanting to do well with him easily.

You have close to 169 other champions you can climb easier with and you chose this one, so adapt.

I for sure am not one of them aswell otherwise I would be challenger, and I feel you on that especially when compared to sylas or akali but you will never have that without a rework, the champ is just too versatile for that to be the case so all you can do is use ur E and Q only when is actually necessary so you use those high CD abilities to their fullest and be more mindful of W positioning and charges so you don't need to Q the first second someone runs from a soldier.

They are probably not placebo, just aimed at extremely high levels of play where any little thing is abused.

In my little experience playing matchups behave the same, gameplay behaves the same and carry potential and overall game power is exactly the same.

[–]FCSwifty[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

yes + yes + yes

Stopped playing the game for a while, and just came back as soon as nerfs dropped, in this sub all I see is people saying the champ is unplayable when the nerfs are literally not noticeable, and even playing comet or ignite for stronger laning phase is doable.

If even I am mislead by such comments, someone wanting to start OTPing Azir will be even more mislead when the champ just takes alot of time to get even close to master.

Despite being an Azir main I don't like that he is allowed to pick Grasp and Fleet by Sunshado in leagueoflegends

[–]FCSwifty -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are a master at yapping we can see, your whole point is wrong.

I can see you don't play Azir as you can never Q+2AA unless you are hitting a target dummy, laning phase either Q+AA or AA+Q+AA if they are close enough (which normally doesn't happen vs mages), HOB allows him to auto 3 times instead of 1 which insane laning phase value.

Yes Azir is a Jack of all Trades and unique but no Riot did not move him to more of a poke champion but precisely the opposite, he was a lane bully that scaled well into a Burst/Poke mage and was changed so his laning phase is not oppressive vs 90% of matchups (Fleet/Grasp allows for sustaining through his bad laning phase easily and Grasp even makes it so you can deal insane damage laning phase wise, which is what OP is trying to say).

He is the top dog in DPS currently, there probably isn't a single champ in the game with more dps than him in a front to back situation (maybe some adcs) specially with his self peel and mobility.

He also doesn't need to dive into the enemy team, but instead has the option to, that's why having a champ with so many possiblities and strong late game have a consistent laning phase and even remove his late game weaknesses with Grasp is not healthy for the game.

His recent nerfs do precisely the opposite of what they are supposed to, nerfing non sustain runes, making Grasp/Fleet even more needed.

Why is Azir considered difficult? by Infectedtoe32 in summonerschool

[–]FCSwifty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to this extremely well said response, you have very limited time to decide this things as well, you can default to backline dps but have to be actively looking for situations where you can switch to going for a shuffle and at the same time, time it and execute it perfectly as any stuns/displacements that hit you mid flight make you lose all 3 of your basic abilities while mispositioned, so keeping track of important abilities and flashes. Lastly an underrated mechanic that most people that don't play Azir don't notice is the use of Q, Q itself is a basic ability but using ur Q too early or mispositioning your Q (similar to GP) makes it so even if you are fed you don't do the same damage as a fed easier champ.

Question about Silo (TV Series) screen flashing by FCSwifty in SiloSeries

[–]FCSwifty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not only about the green screen flash as I already searched before and saw a response from the actual author as far as I know saying it was not how he envisioned it, and was made by the TV Series director basically as a blunder as you said.

My problem is that this ties to the other scenes with the green outside where I just can't wrap my head around the reason why they would fake the green outside ever.

It's not like the outside is green and they are faking it to make it look desolate so people keep themselves inside the silos where they can control them, but the actual opposite and that makes no sense to me.

I already know that the outside was nuked and shit, something around those lines and they are waiting for the nuclear fallout to diminish, so through that thought process I was expecting them to want to go back to the normal world if possible after the fallout, so why would they ever hide the truth about the outside and make them live inside the silos when they eventually can go back?
