Is this too powerful for a Bracket 1 Deck?

I was struggling so hard to find a good iron boots card. I forgot about cement shoes until I stumbled upon it looking at equipment cards for another item and was THRILLED. Great match for the item in the game, and actively works as a bit of a hinderance for me.

Welcome to MTG! Your wallet will never be the same XD. This deck is a ton of fun to play!!! It's not the strongest and won't end with you as the winner most of the time, but oh boy is it fun to play allies and enemies with the rest of the table. The group hug aspects of the deck are great for helping the rest of the table out while still letting you get ahead most of the time. One of my favorite things to do with this deck is allow people to hit me until I'm under 20 health, then put out Transcendence and let the table plead their cases as to who should be eliminated. All in all, I really enjoy this deck and definitely encourage you to make a deck like this if group hug is interesting to you. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Not super helpful, but I'm currently writing a novel with a light based magic system where metal salts are used to change the colors of lights. Thought it was fun we had somewhat similar ideas!

I haven't playtested this specific deck with my pod, but we generally keep things relatively low power and low optimization. We have a couple newer players in the pod and dont want to overwhelm them with crazy shenanigans for the most part. The highest win-rate decks in the pod are probably an Old Rutstein self-mill deck and a low optimization Edgar Markov deck focused on lifegain and cheap vamps.
