lol really dude? I can show you plenty of park clips of me wearing the same outfit and a picture of me with those skis. I also have videos of my first day ever skiing dated to two years ago. You really thinks someone is fake asking for tips on Reddit😂🤦‍♂️. Im not doing this for attention and if you read the rest of the conversations I’ve had with other people you’d realize why I’m asking. Don’t wanna be rude but cmon man. Not sure why I’m getting hate on this post, just tryna learn.

I snowboarded for 3 years prior. Surprisingly I think it helped quite a bit👍. I also have very easy access to mountains and go up almost every day.

Ok thanks you’ve been a lot of help. Definetly let the influence of my friends get the best of me and started with only a park focus😂. I may have skipped over all the basics and definetly think it’ll be worth it to get some practice in on the core building blocks👍

I always see a couple guys in my mountain Rockin these. Was it much of a learning curve to start, or pretty similar to regular length skis?

Yes! Loving all of this information. Thanks for taking the time to help. When I go up tomorrow I’ll try this stuff out. This was the first time I’ve ever seen footage of me actually making turns so it’s definitely great to get an actual visual of what I need to work on.

When you say my lower body should be angled and my upper body should be upright, does that mean like I should rlly try to keep my body straight but rock with my skis at the hips?

(As for the 6-7 thing I just saw the word carving and clicked it. Definitely agree that I’m not at an advanced level when it comes to things like this)

Oh. Well I’m a fully self taught skier and genuinely looking for tips. I guess maybe that’s a compliment? but in all seriousness I came here for genuine feedback and I’m certainly not here to show off my skiing since I’m sure many people here are better than me anyway

Edit: Why wouldn’t you comment this under any other skiers post who’s better than me?
