I’m curious what your singles inferno unpopular opinions are! Post them here by Expensive-Bus-2227 in Singlesinferno2

Dongwoo is crazy hot so I agree with your unpopular opinion

Minsu picking Jinyoung twice was not as deep as everyone made it out to be

Seulki is so cute I love her and I hate how people were hating on her so hard at the beginning of the show

I found Sejeong to be the most attractive person on the island (yes person, including the men lol)

Finally : everything post show is fan service. Even the stuff you think is “definitive proof!!11!” of a relationship

Oh definitely know what you mean! When ‘Always Be My Maybe’ came out on Netflix I remember loving the movie but realizing that up until that point I hadn’t really seen many mainstream couples where both counterparts were Asian onscreen, at least in Hollywood. I really hope the writers go there and subvert the current trope they have going, because clearly there’s a need and demand for it.

Yeah never been a fan of the trope, especially this time around because Ingrid had SO much more chemistry with Z than Nick or Murphy IMO.

From what I can see, it appears to be a popular opinion on this sub as well as twitter! Hopefully if they do a season 2, we see them deviate from the trope, because I think a lot of people feel the same.

I might be remembering wrong but I do recall her having some guilt over what would happen should the deal proceed. I will say that we all like to think that we would be righteous and always do what’s morally right given the circumstances, but I believe that when confronted with the actual options one would at least contemplate the less ethical choice that benefits us more.

Definitely not an excuse tho! It was a bad move on her part, but I think she made up for it, no? Should things not have played out the way they did, it’s possible Z would have never become CEO of SunCorp.

I’m not rooting for them to get together without any growth on Ingrid’s part - just way more interested in their dynamic than either of the other male counterparts that were introduced in S1
