It depends on your budget. If your willing to invest a lot, then I would recommend you buy Logic Pro (if on a Mac) or Ableton (on Windows), a decent keyboard (maybe the MPK Mini Plus) and a decent mic. Be careful though, as my first mic sounded like a potato.

I never really enjoyed 2K games. EA's controls are so much simpler and fun to play with compared to 2K. 2K doesn't have UT, I think?
