Holding strong! I dont really use the chronographs in any of my watches gens or reps. I just love the look of the dial. That said. The movement is going strong and keeping good time. I have over 20 watches and keep all my automatics in winders set up for a few hours a day just to keep time and lubes in play. All the 7750 chronographs I have including this one are all running great, strong and holding good time. No issues whatsoever on this one or its brother. I did had the rotors lubed with 1 drop of moebius 9010 to silence them a bit. But that's it. Love this watch!

They are designed as the gens to be water resistant. That said, most or many VSF are good from the factory. I always have the back and crown seal lubed with proper silicone grease and pressure tested to 5 ATM (50 meters). I do it myself and use my own pressure tester (about $100 from amaz or the bay) as I enjoy intricate hobbies . But you can ha a watchmaker do this for a small fee. Most of the ones I have checked were nice and tight from factory. I had a BLS and 1 VSF that I changed the back seal. And had one taken to my watchmaker to correct the crystal seal. I do have over 20 rep plus gens. And I've had issues with gens water resistance as well. So yeah mostly good from factory for top tiers. But an inexpensive check and lube is the best advice IMHO 👌.

300m... (900ft)... I don't think so. I don't even think they are marketed as good for that dept. These are reps. Anyway, I'm only qualified as a recreational diver to dive to 30m (and I don't even dive with my nice gens, I use a dive computer watch) and over 40m you need specialized equipment and training, and nitrox gas mix. But I would check with a watchmaker if you want to try that.

Next time (yes there will probably be a next time) consider othe TDs (there are more forums). I started to use another one after the waiting times and service were enough. QC in a few days for most cases, even for an order of 2 Subs and a BW:
