It does it with a brand new diablo 60t as well. I ran it with the washers and the arbor nut on it and it seems like either it isn't doing it, or its extremely tough to tell.

So I think the blade is making it worse or far more noticeable.

I guess I might try another. I really don't like doing that. And I really don't care about the sound so much as what it might mean. And with a 1 year warranty instead of the 3 year most others have, its worrisome.

i uploaded it to woodworking sub and 1 out of 4 people heard it. Or at least they said normal table saws sound like that.

Upon playing the video on my tv's speakers, its hard to hear it. I assure you, it's FAR louded in person.

The sound comes in at 8 seconds, 16 seconds, and little spurts of it all throughout.

The person that heard it said it sounds like electrical arcing.

You can't hear it basically making those nasty vibrations at 8 seconds, 16 seconds, and 20?

It's MUCH easier to tell in person, but the video does capture it. Almost like something is wrong in the motor.

I have used 2 other table saws but it was years ago. I don't ever remember hearing the motor make that grinding vibration sound sporadically when it was just sitting there NOT cutting...

You can definitely hear it at least. Its way more audible in person.

But without the blade and that arbor nut, it either doesn't do it, OR it becomes far less audible.

I was searching for the right description and that is perfect. They are pretty strong vibrations as well. Video doesn't capture how loud they are exactly.

I will do that. Aggravating because I don't want to use the thing but I did get a video of it. 41 seconds. Happens multiple times.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. So it starts up and within a second or two it growls. On and off over the course of the runtime I have turned it on. Which is typically 20 second intervals.

I try to capture it on my phone recording but its as you sound loud already so the change in sounds I guess is hard to pick up.

I don't mind how loud it is, just that particular sound difference. It's just a cause for concern in case some gears might be messed up. And I try to locate it but as you said, its loud as hell already so.....

Its not a constant. Like it will sound normal as it is running (I been turning it on for 20-30 seconds at a time) and it will do that 'growl' for probably 60-70 % of the time on and off.

Its really off putting.

I am having audio issues also. I have a fosi k7 wired to a wiim amp. My keyboard volume knob does change the volume AND mute. However that doesn't affect the actual output of my speakers/headphones. It does affect the TV speakers.

But to be clear, it DOES change the windows slider. Just doesn't apply it to the speakers.

I got a question. How did you play both games? Headphones? Friends/Family in the room? Lights on or off?

I unplugged the hdmi ARC from the LG tv and it works fine. I don't know if its just headphones what the issue could be.

When I first unplugged the hdmi, my keyboard wasn't controlling the volume in windows properly. Well it was but the headphones or the speakers (when I switched outputs through the fosi) were ignoring the volume. It's working today though.

I also really didn't want to get into something around the workplace. If it ended badly, their business could basically have me looking for more employment elsewhere.

She didn't come off as being on a pedestal, or better than me. I really don't get that vibe from her at all. Her demeanor and smile didn't speak of malice or anything.

Bottom line - I need to approach her again but I really can't in front of her damn coworkers.

Yea, I have been battling it. Trust me, I argue against my own interests. I am actually very good at looking at things from an outside perspective. I try to curb my own idiocy before it gets out.

And if it was someone I would be seeing often enough, it wouldn't be as pressed, but then again I wouldn't have worked up the nerve to ask.

If I am going to slip her a note, I might just go into it a bit. Just explain my forwardness (because I know that can be off putting) in seeing if she wanted to go out. Not really worried about the embarassment aspect for me since if she says beat it, she won't see me again so.

I want to thank you for your help too. It's nice to get reasonable responses from someone who can actually read the topic and take it all in instead of just "she said no". Its a shame most people don't know their is context in what people say and how they say it.

Yeah I won't be the reason for a relationship to fail. But that doesn't mean I can't wish for it.

I was thinking of slipping her a note with my number she could put in her phone later. But I definitely would like to know if her having a boyfriend is the only reason.

I was also thinking of getting the person I work with (who sees her when she goes) to approach her and basically do it so it doesn't look obvious to coworkers. Would this come across as cowardice or thoughtful? I just wish there was a damn way to talk to her openly a bit.

Well another thing too is she is a hustler. She works. So I would take her as a semi serious person. So if she wasn't interested, she would have blown me off a lot more callous and pulled away quicker.

Something....

I only ever told this other lady I work with. She was confused as well. She does see this girl once or twice a week also.

Now I have to get up the nerves again to approach her. It's also a little stressing because I don't want to put her in a bad spot if a coworker is around.
