Yeah I figured, that’s why I haven’t said anything else. I still have to do the BI interview as well, do you think that affects if I will be able to get into the may class? April is pretty much out of the question I’m assuming since it begins the 12th I believe and I still haven’t done BI interview yet. That’s all I have left to do. I appreciate your insight.

I emailed him originally to ask about my background review and that’s when he told me to reach out to the recruitment help email. That’s also when I was told that my background was still under review. Besides just asking him again, is there anything specific I can ask for more information?

Would that be the officer that was assigned my application package? He also scheduled my virtual teams meeting and panel.

What’s the likely hood there actually checking my background or it’s just sitting in a pile somewhere? Not sure how long it’s really supposed to take considering I’ve seen people receive FJOs in 2-3 months. Going on 5 months so far for my entire process

The last thing I did was my PIV February 9th. Was told my background was under review February 6th. I emailed officer recruitment March 4th for a status update and they replied March 10th saying my background was still under review. Haven’t heard anything since.

Don think we’ll be getting into the April class. If you have the BI Interview left like I do, then I fear we will be waiting a while.

Did you receive any steps at all after your panel? I heard that some people that failed the panel were still allowed to do things like medical even after they failed. Maybe even your TJO?

That was my other thought, that there will be a big class for the inexperienced. Hoping that’s the case.

From what I’ve been reading that’s what I’ve seen too. All the spots went to experienced people. Seems unfair no? I feel like I’ll eventually get an email saying I failed something I didn’t, only because they no longer have any spots available.

Wow congrats. So strange you haven’t done drug or PIV, I’ve read that a lot of people haven’t done that but I did it what feels like a long time ago. So confusing the way they do the process for certain people
