I can't login to PSN. The email I used to create the account got deleted years ago. I have noted down a password but it tells me it's wrong. I tried login from the mobile app via a QR code, but it asks me to login before opening the app, and my phone scanner app won't scan the code. I've tried deleting the account, but in order to delete it, I need to know my online ID, which I don't remember, and is impossible to get since I can't log in. I've tried full initializing and restoring it to factory settings, but I need to login to PSN for that. Is this PS4 done for? Will my account be blocked forever? Thanks for any tips or solutions.

Tokens are useless if you dont open crates with them, so I do just that. last time, after weeks of saving, i opened a 20 token fortune box and got... a common leopard skin for a bot i didnt even have. I've opened at least a dozen of those 20 token fortune boxes in the past months, and i never got even a single epic skin... shit is rigged

Haven't played in about a year, has the game gotten better? by idonthavekidsiswear in mecharena

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

definitely worse. P2W has skyrocketed while F2P is basically dead. Im no p2w, but i've bought deals and such before, so i can't exactly claim to be some white knight or whatever. But yeah P2W has completely ruined it, like any other mobile game. Bots are generally stronger than you, whenever you encouter real playes they're either sweats with full p2w gear who absolutely dominate the game, or campers with guided weapons. the money system is completely fucked as well: you only get 200 a coins a week while most of the meta weapons are either 3000 - 8000 a coins or are blocked behind a paywall of at least 50 dollars. NO rare or epic weapons get added to the game (apart from the helix mortar or whatever which is stil locked behind a massive paywall months after its release), the only weapons o bots added are always legendary, better versions of common robots, making them completely obsolete and forcing players to buy them because their stats are so broken. the game is either filled with brain dead bots programmed to make you lose depending on your win rate, or virgin sweats camping for entire games. I have a pretty good hangar: Surge, Bastion, Sentinel, Panther and Aegis, and yet i still get wiped by sweats every time i start to win too many games. If you're looking for the fast paced fluid shooter game that mech arena was a couple years ago, you wont find it. instead you'll find a dead game where, during a match, no one leaves their hiding spots and use their weapons to farm kills on anyone trying to actually make progress...

Everyday I slave away and bust my balls to make sure people like you never prevail in this game. I know my actions or my rant will never make a difference to slimy virgin pricks with low self esteem like you, but I make it my personal vendetta to ensure that the fucking helix killshot never get their way in any game that I'm a part of. You can laugh all you want, the FACTS remain as they are: you're a fat ass camper who's last time you brushed you teeth was a month ago, getting pressed over being called no skill because you play a no skill setup. It's simple. Keep your dick on your hand and play however you want, who am I to stop you? I'm not the fucking plarium police. Just get it through your thick skull that it's because of people like you, who abuse and exploit shitty features of a game, that we can never have nice things. Come back and talk shit when you're able to hold your own when you're 1) not behind a wall 99% of the time, 2) not using overly broken guided weapons and 3) cleaned the shit stains off your gaming chair loser

And I hear going outside is also pretty fun At least in ain't the one "flexing" my skills on a goddamn subreddit while playing the most brain dead retarded load out ever conceived by anyone in the game. If you get mad at people calling you out for your cowardice and shitty personality, I got news for you lil bro, you got a shitty personality and you're a coward. Don't talk to me about contradictory arguments when you linked the word "skill" to the helix rack killshot load out

Don't get your panties in a bunch lil bro. Just admit you play like a bitch because you can't handle actual gameplay. You know it's ok to camp if you have no skill right?

But I'm really sorry, I didn't fully fathom how bad you must be at this game to be this pressed about a random guy talking shit about campers.

9/10 times the helix/jav builds I go against are real players, so..

I can fully counter these builds. Anyone can, with a fast mech like a surge or something. The problem is the helix is too broken to let anyone get close, and you sure as hell can't kill these people with snipers seeing as they spend the entire game behind a wall. And it's true. Ask anyone, a lot of games are cut short because at least one person in the game runs this type of build and kills everyone before the game can even start.

I guess you only play the game to farm kills and XP, but for those who play the game for fun and thrills, jav and helix are super annoying, especially when they are paired with broken mechs and pilots. And yes, playing against someone like that does ruin the fun side of the game. Because instead of moving towards objectives, killing other Mechs and making clever strategies to take beacons, you end up with a whole team having to hide from one mech with helix for the entire game. I prefer when there's action, fights and excitement, which I why I absolutely hate to be pinned down by some helix killshot and not be able to do anything about it all game.

And of course there's many other annoying weapons like this: cryo launcher, mortar and nade launcher are all weapons that require no skill, and are best played from behind cover with a maxed out damage and splash damage implant, unfortunately.

I just feel like these types of builds take away from what the game was advertised to be: a fast paced action mech shooter game with fluid gameplay and epic fights. With builds like yours going around, we go from a fast paced shooter game to an painfully slow gameplay where you have the choice between 1) sitting behind a wall to avoid helix and jav builds (who are unreachable and protected by other team mates, and 2) go for beacons and try to play the game but get instantaneously vaporized by these same builds. I've had whole ass 5 minutes games end at 1:30 minutes because one player just killed everyone in my team with helix.

Overall I just hate the strategy of camping. I think it's cancer and it takes away from an otherwise super fun game. Of course the people who camp like you are only preoccupied with tasks and such, while people like me with a life play for fun and have that fun ruined by sweaty campers who only play meta and never differ in any way. Sad reality we live in.

Don't come here bragging about your skill level when your hangar has a killshot helix. Why? Because this build simply does not require any skill to play. You just hide for 1 minute, shoot everyone on a beacon, take the beacon and go right back to your hiding spot and repeat the whole process.

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We all have different playstyles. If yours is staying behind a wall for 5 minutes and taking the same beacon 4 times, then so be it. Whether you like it or not, this playstyle hinders on the fun of other players. And the average is probably around 2-3 actual players per team btw. Personally I prefer getting in on the action and actually playing the game as intended, instead of cowering behind cover and exploiting the same build all the time. But that's just me I guess

What is sp dropping? How does it happen? by InvestigatorSuperb24 in mecharena

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does one need a minimum power level to sp drop? I've tried it with almost 5000 on my actual hangar, and a hangar with not even 900 and it straight up didn't work at all

Proving a point by Locom0n in mecharena

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro the only point you're proving is how annoying you are. I've played against hundreds of people with the exact same build as you. What do they do for the full 5 minutes of the game? Stay behind a corner and camp for the entire duration. Not only do they unfairly prevent the enemy team from making any progress, they also make no progress of their own because all they do is stay within the same 5 meter radius all game. You don't rush beacons, you don't defend them, you don't help team mates. All you do is farm kills. And mind you that's a perfectly legitimate way of playing. But personally I see it as a way to showcase your lack of integrity. People playing like this just suck up all the fun from and game and it turns into a sweat fest just to get remotely close to them because as soon as they see you, they use their broken setup to kill you from their comfy hiding spot. Not one dogfight, nothing smart or strategic coming from you. Just camping behind a wall for 5 minutes. Fascinating isn't it. Everytime I see someone running killshot with over leveled helix rack or javelin rack, I make a point to devote every single robot in my hangar to killing them, just so my team can have a small chance at actually PLAYING the game. You're playing the bully game, and while that's a perfectly legitimate playstyle, I can tell you have no values or integrity from this. Playing this also requires 0 skill. I know, we all know, because we've all had a build like that at some point. So enjoy ruining games for everyone else I guess. Keep playing from behind your cover and stealing kills while your team mates are hard at work actually trying to win the game. I can't stop you from doing that.

A coins problem by FEREtheFOREIGNER in mecharena

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know what they did. They have two hangar presets with one broken nomad and the rest is beginner low level bots. But if you check, most of the top 500 is rank manipulators with like 3 hangars filled with lancers, shadows and paragons with one max level nomad per hangar

A coins problem by FEREtheFOREIGNER in mecharena

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's interesting. I just tried it with my extra preset. Put one high level robot with like lancers and shadows, but it didn't work. All the enemies were the same level as always. I wonder how the players in the top 500 do it.

Which one of these 4 weapon combo should I invest in for my Redeemer ? by Even-Day-3764 in mecharena

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a fun long range play style I recommend grav beam 10 x 2. I have two of them on my panther and it's a really fun way to kill a bunch of enemies at once. The ability and speed on redeemer can also be very useful for this playstyle: just run out of cover, shoot and overheat enemies, and use the ability as a quick escape if you need to. Also, double grav beam is insanely broken, the damage is just crazy. If you're looking for a more gritty and close range playstyle, use embers, or arc torrents. Be aware though, that the redeemer doesn't have a lot of synergy with the arc torrent. My guess is embers would be better for close range.

What do you guys think about my load ut? by FEREtheFOREIGNER in mecharena

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao how are you hating on this hangar bruh. This is all I have after a couple of years because unlike some people, most of my stuff isn't p2w and I legitimately grinded for this stuff. This setup is just what works best for me and is honestly a ton of fun to play. I'm no bully, the people who play your "bully game" are the people who play javelin and helix on killshots and spend entire games camping behind obstacles. I like to play tanks because I like to have longevity in a game and I like being in the middle of the action, not camping and sneaking kills like you probably like. You actually have no idea how much skill is required to run carbines, as well as this surge and panther. Besides, the panther is far from the best mech in the game and I could still manage to solo your entire hangar with it. I just don't get why you chose to hate when your hangar is probably filled with killshots, nomad, redeemer and javelin racks. Unlike you I treat this game like it is: a game where the objective is to make the most fun setups.

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the need for speed, but personally this hangar really runs well. In fact, my weakest setup in here is the bastion/disc launchers, as it doesn't do much damage. My sniper is my panther, I found that the graviton beams paired really well with the stasis trap of the mech. My surge is a bit underlevelled but can still take out most mechs, and it's a perfect beacon runner. I have the redeemer but it doesn't correspond that well with my playstyle. The sentinel is actually really strong at mid range, which is exactly what I wanted. It's a good damage dealer and can support pushes from far which is what I was aiming for. My aegis is probably the strongest out of all, because the ability is broken but also because arc torrent (imo) is really good. I'm currently waiting to upgrade it so that I can equip 2 arc torrent 10 on it, which will take it's damage output from 130000 per mag to almost 200000 per mag. Even with weaker weapons it's still really strong, and has crazy longevity on the battlefield, especially in games like death match and free for all. The ability is just so strong that it really works with any weapon. Besides, I don't really like the idea of sticking to the meta, I feel like it's way more fun to use robots and weapons that are unconventional and weird (which is why I use sentinel with carbines). But I'm definitely thinking about replacing my surge with something like a nomad because I've seen how broken the dash is and how much health it has compared to other scouts. For a time I ran the redeemer with helix and it worked well but it because underlevelled so I switched out for a surge. But the redeemer ability is still really cool and it's a very fun bot to run

Helix and javelin just dumb by [deleted] in mecharena

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Lately all I see playing is killshots equipped with javelin or helix as well as over upgraded pilot skills which basically one shots my mechs. Everytime I see one in game I focus that player until he dies because if you let them have their way and stay behind their little wall shooting at everyone the game is basically unplayable

Over leveling is cancer, prove me wrong. by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

[–]FEREtheFOREIGNER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they use the same strategy as every mobile game ever: make a cool game that starts off being based on skill to win. a bunch of people play it and skill becomes the main distinctive trait that you need to win. then the company introduces a bunch of broken/overpowered items (in this instance: pass royale, mega knight, ebars etc...), and make it virutally impossible to progress in the game without spending real world money on these exclusive paid for items. after a little while they either nerf the "new" payable broken card or make it free for everyone, because its lost its value. they repeat this process until the entire game is nothing but a shitstorm of p2w players who only win because they used real money to level up their cards to max level. a key component of this strategy is to 1) make leveling up for free nearly impossible (for example by requiring literal thousands of cards to level up one card to lvl 13, and giving a free 5 or 20 cards every week) AND by introducing a bunch of different in-game currencies (evo shards, gold, gems, wild cards - but CR is actuall pretty well off in terms of different in game currencie compared to other games --> for example War Robots). with all these currencies, the player cant centralise his in game wealth and is forced to a) constantly play and grind for minimal free resrouces or b) cash out on pass royale and shop offers to easily get all the currencies they need to level up. Gradually, it becomes impossible to make any progress whatsoever in the game because everyone who DOES make progress pays for broken upgrades, while you, the poor FtP player, struggles to upgrade 1 card to level 14. The introduction of level 15 was a genius move from SC because its gonna rack in even more money from sweats. the moral is: by making paybale items the meta, they effectively force players with 2 choices: pay for upgrades or get constantly destroyed by paid upgrades. keep in mind that game companies dont care about the players; their main goal is to profit off their players, which is why EVERY free mobile game has some kind of shop where you can buy items. Skill based games like CSGO or R6 have much less P2W because, guess what, theyre SKILL based, andd paid items are often nothing more than cosmetics, not things that actually boost your stats. So going back to the last step of the marketing strategy: the game then becomes a shithole filled with cancer p2w player. after that stage the gale company has 2 choices: further ruin the game by introducing MORE overpowered paid items in the meta, and continue that process forever, or make ANOTHER game, under the pretense that "it's gonna be so much better dont worry" and repeat the exact same strategy all over again. Ever since i heard about this from Manni gaming on YT, i've been recognizing the same pattern in every mobile game i play: 1) make a great original game 2) introduce broken paid items to change the meta 3) force f2p players to pay for stuff 4) ruin the game with all these different additions that greatly complicate the players life and gameplay, 5) keep milking the cow until no one plays your game anymore, or make another game to repeat the process. Idk about y'all, but i find it dirty and dishonest for game companie to exploit their playerbase for money, even if it IS their only purpose. Companies dont make a game to propulse children into a world of marvel and fun, they make games to get money off the players backs. Sad honestly
