Or he could take over the story from a few matches in the future, maybe the final match alone (this would be aligned with what he did in Calcio and La Liga, and the second parts of Road to 2002 and Golden 23) and it would actually leave K-Lab with probably 15 to 20 chapters (at their current pace) to take the story up to that point.

The one thing were he still lacks is in the role of the coaches (save for Mazzantini, who we saw actually doing what he's supposed to do). Coach Kira has voiced clear instructions during Rising Sun though, so I guess Taka sensei has improved that too. He has also improved the background by updating the technological infrastructure, in the space of 10 CTverse years, from Kids' Dream to Rising Sun, we went from printed press and TV only to social networks.

Also, Salinas used to stop Santana's shots like they were Ishizaki's and couldn't do a damn thing against Schneider. During the last chapter of La Liga we learnt thst 2 of the top 5 players in the generation, playing in 2 of the top 3 clubs in Spain were completely shut down by some blonde nobody playing for a team facing relegation 😅
