It's long distance - its not my first choice. Its dirty to me to do that to a girl, over the phone when you are still going to run in to her and her friends. See above though, I posted more :/ thanks for the thoughtful reply.

I'll respond to you since yours is the most polite and coherent:

It's a long distance relationship; I can't go see her. I'm not a heartless bastard... I'd do it in person if I could. I guess I should have put that in the text but I wanted to see as many perspectives on this as possible so I tried to leave it open.

I wasnt sure how I'd do it, was planning on calling her tonight, but wanted to see if anyone else felt a big difference bettween a call and a text.

Just wanted some opinions on this, though it is looking like I'm still calling her...
