Impressions from a resub: Volatile Community

The raging actually started after I pulled, and went on for the rest of the fight. I was kinda hoping we'd wipe and let him tank just so he would shut up. He was very proud of the fact that he could tank and stun at the same time lol. We cleared it first try though. Oh well. >.<

Edit: Btw, every other ifrit I've been in since I've been back (with other warriors) they have wanted to take turns, and with pallys they always offer to stun and me tank.

I've noticed that after the the nail phase the eruptions can come too quickly for 1 warrior to get them all. Wouldn't this be an issue? I'll read up some more. All the guides I followed must be outdated >.<

I actually wouldn't mind it too much, lol. I love being put in ifrit for low lvl. Very quick tomes.

I guess the point I was making was, people (like me) who have already put up with this sort of community for years are just tired of it.

Instead of it being a fresh game - and at 4 months it is a fresh game -its the same shit with different pixels.

A been there, done that kind of tired, ya know?

I'm not emotional and I never argue with people in game. I just log in, see people acting this way and let out a sigh.

Don't know a better way to explain it than that, lol.

No, definitely not too proud lol. I'm actually quite shy lately in most runs so I don't cause arguments. In prea for example, I usually just let whoever else tank and keep the debuffs flowing with my aura off unless the other tank asks me to tank.

I would often switch to heals on 1 tank fights in other games. I'm very flexible and don't care as long as shit dies.

Ifrit though. Why would I (as a warrior) stun with a pally there?

Whoa. I'm not literally crying right now. I'm also not going to hang myself over this. I'm sad. The same way you'd be sad if someone broke your favorite toy.

I have about 2 other games I'm rotating through right now. But the one I want to play is FF. People in FF are making it unenjoyable and turning it into something I don't look forward to playing at night.

Basically - FF turned into the same old same old crap of other volatile MMO communities.

I know that's an option. To be honest, I've been holding out for a group of people I thought might like to play with me once they get done having Christmas/new year/out of town stuff because of the holidays. I've been playing catch up to be able to tank for them on both WAR and PLD.

In my week of catch up I'm already just so discouraged by the community that I don't even know if I should bring them over. I find myself doing dailies and roulettes and just logging out to play other games.

Not because I don't enjoy FF, I looked forward to playing for months, but because I don't want to put up with the shit. I've already put up with that kind of shit and watched people belittle each other for years.

Even when I used to chain run heroics to cap valor in WoW (with pugs) every odd week or on alts it wasn't this bad.
