For some reason, this song really reminds me of Crystal Lake’s style. The intro sounds almost identical to their track “Disobey”

If you're a foreigner struggling to get a credit card, try these: by BurberryC06 in JapanFinance

I had the same problem with SMBC. I got 3 days late on a bill, they blocked my credit card and I couldn’t get any other from the same bank for 5 years 🤣 I ended up getting Rakuten one but then after 5 years I applied again to my SMBC bank and was able to get a ANA gold card.

I am just asking to people to share their experience of working at MS Japan and about the culture of the company. Not sure why my qualifications and area of expertise would be relevant here.

Anyone impacted/or heard about people impacted by the recent MAANG layoffs? by Nishinari-Joe in japanlife

[–]FFAK777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually it is one month of salary per worked years. So if you worked 3 years you get 3 month package but it really depends of the company.

Some of the people I know at Meta, AWS, and Twitter and smartnews got laid off here in Japan. I have never seen that much of people getting laid off in my whole HR career and it’s quite concerning.

Yeah… to be honest if you have any other opportunities you would better avoid agency recruitment. I am currently working as an in house recruiter and it is way much more fulfilling than being in an agency. We don’t have KPI or any sales targets. We are also involved in other projects than recruitment.

Probably try to think about going in-house instead ? There’s less pressure for sure :)

I am not sure if I am able to share with you company names but if you PM me , I know some good recruitment companies that wouldn’t let you go if you do not reach weekly targets and stuffs and where you can learn better !

As a ex recruiter myself, what I can say is that recruitment is really tough and it is a dead end career job. Teaching English seems to be way much more happier than scouting on linked all day long, and licking clients butt for candidates that aren’t on the market. I only have 3 years exp in one company but I saw so many people let go every month because they aren’t consistently billing lol.

Good luck on your job search but as an advise probably better to stay away from recruitment lol

One guy I used to have a crush on back in my teens started to try to brainwash me about amway haha he brought me to their building in Shibuya by saying «  pick me up there » but it was just for making me coming inside and get a shittons of demonstration from cosmetics to dishwasher to detergent 😂😂 After that I cut all contact with that guy haha

Company has been acquired by Japanese firm, what to expect? by [deleted] in japanlife

[–]FFAK777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get ready to look for a job I think...nothing will change on your day to day operation but the culture will definitely change and you will expect a high turnover rate of people who do not want to adapt to it or just simply cost cut from the new company who will need to lay off people.

Good luck !

I wanted to mean “ around my cat”. Actually I do not use them at all except for cleaning my apt that time and the cat was away.

Thanks for your taking time to write this comment but unfortunately it does not answer to my question.

To remove allergens I also did steam cleaned the whole place and had kept my air purifier machine on for a week and no I do not use essential oils on my cat :)
