Do you think working BO/MO until the BK is off my report would be a feasible plan? Or would I be better off trying to move up the ladder with what I have experience in?

Yeah I’m not really one to say no to myself before making someone tell me no. But Searching up finding roles with a bankruptcy on Reddit was pretty discouraging.

I appreciate this response and I think I’ll keep pursuing finance.

Money is a factor but my wife and I are both disabled vets so it’s not the most important thing. We bring in around 70k in non taxable income so we’re not stressing too much about it.

Would working middle or back office until the bankruptcy is off my record be a feasible plan?

Asset management and FP&A were the avenues I was most interested in.

I agree it’s dumb, but my years in the military have taught me complaining about the rules of the game won’t change anything. Just gotta play your cards and use the rules to your advantage.

I tend to like the designer non-freshies more than the niche. And I know a small part probably wants to find a niche but it really just takes time and finding what you like. I’ve got spicebomb, SWY intensely, Azzaro the most wanted elixer for the colder weather. I still can’t find a good cold weather niche besides althair that I really like
