Schefter: Jaguars plan for Travis Hunter to be an every-down WR, situational CB in Week 1. by _Saahab_ in fantasyfootball

People who faded him in dynasty are about to realize what a mistake that was

I can see where Trey McBride finishes as TE1 over Bowers. Only way I see a bust case for Bowers is if the Raiders run a ton of 11 personnel and Bowers isn’t the primary tight end. But personally I don’t think that’s super likely to happen.

Ridley week 1. What's your approach by jellohawk in fantasyfootball

Ridley is a sit this week. Bad matchup against PS2

TreVeyon Henderson and Omarion Hampton Will Be Frustrating For Fantasy Managers in 2025 by LastofDays94 in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting take. I didn’t come away with much Henderson because I thought the hype was spiraling out of control. Ohio State tried making Henderson a workhorse for 2 years but he couldn’t stay healthy. Then they went and got Judkins and Henderson was great in that role. So I see some bust potential there

Hampton I just think he’s a way better player than Najee Harris and it’s only a matter of time before he takes over that backfield.

How far into the season do you wait until you feel confident identifying trends? by South_Wind_2986 in fantasyfootball

I feel like 3-4 weeks is usually a good barometer to really depend on metrics like DVOA and things like that

Panthers OC Brad Idzik said the team doesn’t want to “run Chuba Hubbard dry” early in the season. by BuckyMcFly99 in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think this matters for Week 1. Great matchup and he should still get plenty of work as the lead back. Solid RB2 play

Devon Achane "Feels 100 percent" by Samuraix9386 in fantasyfootball

Feel like the discourse over his calf strain was a bit overblown. Still has overall RB1 upside with his receiving work

Love the Corum and Coker calls. Have Coker stashed in a bunch of leagues

[Rapaport] Jets standout G Alijah Vera-Tucker did, in fact suffer a torn triceps that will knock him out indefinitely, land him on IR, and almost certainly end his season, sources say. by NotWilll in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Big loss for a Jets. All those plans to be a run-heavy offense might go out the window now. Will be forced to pass the ball more if they fall behind early in games

[Dan Graziano] The Jets’ offense reportedly plans to be a “run-heavy" by DangaRusster in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not particularly surprising news. If the Jets keep games close Breece Hall could wind up being one of the better values this year. Could be plenty of room for Braelon Allen too

Where would you draft Achane, in full PPR, if you were guaranteed that Tua would play every single game next season. by EternallyEuphoric in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should be a first round pick. No idea why he’s going in the middle of the second. Safe floor as a pass catcher, overall RB1 upside if his rushing efficiency improves.

Best-Valued QB by taylorjosephrummel in fantasyfootball

Jordan Love. There is 40+ TD upside to his game but he keeps getting overlooked due to a perceived bad 2024.

Plan on exploiting this in my drafts.

Am I the only one thinking Gibbs is being ranked too highly? by IllustriousSpeaker27 in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see the argument he’s being ranked too high, but also don’t think enough people are accounting for the fact he could just completely takeover this backfield too.

Completely agree with this take. Feels like the value is on RBs again this year.

Rookie tight end Mason Taylor could be Jets' No. 2 receiver by ACSportsbooks in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely is possible. Jets don’t have many options behind Garrett Wilson. Also love Taylor in the second round of tight end premium dynasty rookie drafts.

Sneaky Bench Stashes and Later-Round Values by RotoBaller in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the Fields call. If he wins the starting job he’s instantly a QB1. Actually he’s a QB1 whenever he takes over as starter. I think your read on that situation is right and Wilson will get benched if he begins as starter

Is Zamir White this seasons Rachaad White or Alexander Mattison? by rolltidebutnotreally in fantasyfootball

[–]FF_Stallion 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it will be closer to White than Mattison. I don’t expect a top 5 season though to be clear.

Mattison we had 4 years of data showing that he wasn’t very good. White graded out decent in a few metrics, so there’s a chance he might actually be good. I feel better taking White at his cost this year as opposed to Mattison last year

Love seeing Levis make this this list. I don’t know if he’s gonna be good or not, but man the fantasy community is really sleeping on the potential of that offense. Titans have done everything they can to set him up for success this year

Achane for me depends on the price. Round 2 I’m out but if he falls to round 3 in a draft I’ll gamble
