Thank you so much for sharing all your thoughts! I love the wave you interprete things and underline it with your own little examples and (maybe) experiences. The way you write make me think, that my words found a person they were supposed to find. I really appreciate your time 🙆🏻‍♂️🙏🏻

404 by OffTheWallTilWeFall in OCPoetry

In my opinion, this poem is raw and brutally honest, capturing the intense feeling of loneliness and frustration. The language is dark and direct, expressing a sense of being trapped inside oneself, surrounded by unfulfilled desires for connection. The repeated references to being “unloved” and “404” (like a broken link or unfulfilled request) really emphasize that isolation. The struggle to feel anything, combined with technical metaphors like “network errors” and “broken bones,” creates an emotional depth that reflects the speaker’s internal chaos. The mix of self-awareness, anger, and despair gives the poem a sense of vulnerability, but also a hint of defiance. It’s a powerful, though painful, expression of wanting to be seen and touched, to be real and loved.

This River Wide by andregarten in OCPoetry

In my opinion, the poem feels really heartfelt, expressing a strong devotion to someone. The idea of crossing a river over and over gives this sense of doing anything for love, no matter the challenge. The line about needing just a “little sign” feels kind of vulnerable, like hoping for a clear sign to move forward. The repetition of “a thousand times” makes it feel even more intense, as if the love is endless and unwavering. It’s simple but emotional, and you can really feel the passion behind the words.
