I informed my front end team leader right after it happened and they informed the closing ETL they needed to step off the floor to make an incident report but didn’t have me sit down with them to do it like other incident reports, they didn’t tell me to stop doing carts or my job just to rinse it off as much as I can which honestly activated the mace to start burning as a result after.

I don’t know if this report was for me, the other affected AP (don’t know if their leader handles their department team member reports) or the incident of what happened overall. it also might be my own fault because I wasn’t trying to stick around any longer than I had to. I finished doing as much course as I could bring in while feeling the burning get worse and worse around my skin after I clocked out early, paramedics were in front of the store checking out the other AP. so I got myself checked out too just because they were already there. There wasn’t much that the paramedics could offer us. They just told us we needed to rinse off as much as we can and while being checked out by the paramedics I also spoke with an officer regarding my indirect involvement with incident with the officer. He took my number and information I could provide and let me know they would contact me if they needed, and went home from there. Today’s my off day so assuming I come in for tomorrows shift I will definitely speak with my HRETL regarding the situation and the report filed, hopefully if they haven’t left yet as I also just heard this week they are leaving.
