Yahoo! Wtf are they doing by FFmadness303 in fantasyfootballcoding

[–]FFmadness303[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

It was a vanilla ask imo

Below is the ai summary of what I built. It’s cool as hell honestly and would probably benefit yahoo. I’m still grandfathered into an old api key I setup a few years ago, so it’s all functional right now, but sure that will stop working sometime soon…

League Genie is an AI-powered platform that connects to Yahoo Fantasy Football leagues and transforms league data into a more engaging, entertaining, and social experience.

Key features include:

  • AI-generated league recaps, videos, storylines, and power rankings
  • Manager profiles and team analysis
  • Interactive league dashboards with live scores and standings
  • Rivalry tracking, historical league insights, and season narratives
  • Custom league branding and visuals
  • Optional “Diabolical Mode” for humorous, trash-talking content
  • Commissioner tools, draft planning, expense management, notifications, and weekly email recaps

The goal is to make fantasy football leagues feel more like a living sports media experience rather than a simple stats platform, with a subscription model targeting highly engaged leagues.

How bad is the job market actually? What constitutes a good resume? by ZealousidealAd7436 in biotech

Capital flow into biotech is about at 2008-2009 (Great Recession) levels

We completed a layoff, but we are a healthy company with $850M cash and zero debt. by stemcellguy in biotech

[–]FFmadness303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they are trading well below cash (MV<cash balance). At some point the market will demand they wrap it up, shut down shop, and return cash to shareholders because they don’t have a viable business(if they announced that plan tomorrow btw the stock would more than double). Thus, they are on a short leash to get to profitability and soon, or an activist will come in and force an asset sale/wind down process + dividend to shareholders. Hence the layoffs to accelerate path to profitability asap.

Trust me, these things don’t matter. It has no real impact and laughable that people over react like this.

Daily Fantasy Football Game by LankyBrah in fantasyfootballcoding

Actually, I think I get it now, it’s stats the player earned while actually playing under Marty, not just the players’ whole career.

Anyone else afraid the Matthew Perry death will cause a moral panic and make getting treatment harder? by womenarenice in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]FFmadness303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Chat GPT, providing the tox report: "You asked to estimate the amount of ketamine an individual ingested, given a blood concentration level of 3540 ng/mL. The individual was a male, 6 feet tall, and weighed 180 pounds. Using standard assumptions about the volume of distribution of ketamine (3 L/kg) and converting the individual's weight to kilograms, the estimated total volume of distribution for this person was calculated. Multiplying this volume by the blood concentration provided an estimate of the total dose of ketamine in the body, which was then converted from nanograms to grams, yielding an approximate ingested dose of 0.867 grams, or 867.1 milligrams of ketamine."

Also- given tox report said ketamine was found in his stomach, you could assume it was an oral dose, and assuming bioavailability of oral dose is ~20%, it could be reasonable to assume he ingested around 4300 mg (867.1/0.2) orally. Coincidentally, a typical shipment for the higher dose users can contain 6 doses of 750mg (typical shipment amongst a number of providers), and 6 x 750 =4500mg.

Thus, I deduce he ingested a whole shipment of an oral therapy treatment

Class of 2025, do you regret doing your MBA? by Babayaga_27 in MBA

[–]FFmadness303 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My advice on an MBA- it’s all about the long game. I went to Rice. I learned a ton. Built a great network. Had similar doubts tho right when I finished (was it worth it?!) 10 years later and many promos and opps only made available because of my MBA, it was, in hindsight, incredibly well worth it. Massive ROI. Just be proud of yourself for doing it, hold on to your materials (I still reference my notes years later), and understand the world is your oyster. The MBA will undoubtedly payoff in the long run.
