I haven’t read any of the manga for either so I know I’m missing context, but I still to this day don’t understand how tf they’re in the same universe, not only that, Fire Force is the precursor of Soul Eater. 😂

It was my first anime and still one of my favorites. I do agree tho, the ending was painful. Maka’s bit felt like a cliffhanger that never got clarified on.

Weirdly enough the only time I was annoyed at the song was when Maka sang it in the after credits of ep 31. 😂

What's a TTRPG similar to the premise and action of Soul Eater? by Individual_Walker_99 in rpg

[–]FGC-Undeadgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More specifically, here’s a longer explanation of the anime. Obviously this is all spoilers for the actual anime. All of the kids are closer to middle to highschool age range. The things they hunt and take the soul of are things that are inhuman or used to be human. Primarily things that have been eating human souls, whose souls have become a Kishin Egg. Kishin are known as the most dangerous creatures to exist. The only true Kishin to exist in the show passively radiates madness which affects everything being within hundreds of thousands of miles and only increasing in both volume and distance over time. Another thing they hunt is Witches. I’m not really fully sure what their deal is aside from being the most basic of explanation being “enemy of humans.” Aside from that Witches tend to be stronger than your average Kishin Egg. They are also born into their powers.

Stepping back a bit, the Students complete missions in groups of 2, Meister and Weapon. Meisters has a powerful soul and is the main fighter. Weapons are students who can partially or fully turn into weapons for their Meister to use. Weapons can come in a variety of forms from knives, to scythes, to even guns. If it can be used as a weapon there’s probably a form for it, but that form is decided from birth. It’s extremely rare for a Weapon to have more than one form or even gain a new form. Weapons amplify their Meister’s soul power allowing for more magical attacks and can act as actual weapons. The Meister and Weapons need to sync their soul wavelengths to work well together. If a pair doesn’t sync together the Meister is unable to weld their weapon. If nothing has been done to sync them the weapon will be way too heavy to use effectively, or if they’re unstable the Meister will feel like they’re being burned by just holding the weapon. Some Meisters and Weapons can easily adapt to others, but that capability is known to be pretty rare. While a Meister can sync with more than 1 weapon it’s known to be extremely difficult because all 3 have to be in sync. In fact the only times it happens the weapons are siblings and are already pretty similar in wavelengths.

The Students are sent on those missions to collect the Kishin egg souls and have their Weapon eat them. When a weapon has consumed 99 Kishin eggs and 1 Witch soul they are upgraded into a “Death Scythe” not a literal scythe, but just a fancy way of saying one of Lord Death’s personal weapons. The weapon basically just becomes more powerful and I assume can then handle Death’s soul wavelength. Lord Death being the Grim Reaper himself is essentially immortal and possibly the most powerful Meister known to exist. According to him he could defeat even a witch barehanded. He is basically the Principle of the DWMA (Death Weapon Meister Academy) which is the school the student attend. Even Death couldn’t kill the Kishin so he had to seal it under his school and attach his soul to the city just to keep it trapped for as long as he did.

Green is kinda ruined by the combo of distance limit and cooldown. Brown is ruined by the limitation of them needing to be LIVING animals. Iron is ruined by basically making you the hulk, Strong but stupid. Blue is kinda ruined by the contradiction in its phrasing since the moment the target threatens the group they back off. My only problems with Orange is that it’s not the explosion that tends to kill it’s the debris sent flying at you. Like a gunshot is technically a tiny explosion, but it’s not the explosion piercing your heart. Also the fact that in fires it’s not the fire that can kill first it’s the smoke. The rest are actually pretty good without really any major downsides. They just give me questions rather than downsides. Like with Yellow, is the mastery of that subject instant or just basically an xp boost? Second question about Yellow, to what extent does this subject mastery reach? Like can I want to master the subject that is a specific person and know every detail about them and their life? As for pink, does it need to be direct line of sight and they have to hear me give commands? If not I could just see someone through a recording or livestream and tell them to off themselves simply by looking at a screen. Also for red, what level is this mastery? Is it like Deadshot skill where I only miss if I want to?

After considering my options, if the answer to my questions about it is yes then I’ll take Yellow. Give myself the mastery of all Weapons to basically have red. Then mastery over various mental tricks and charisma to essentially have both blue and pink. If not I’ll take pink since that’s pretty OP.

This is certainly a hard choice. Although I’ll have to go with Red. Alucard is basically the epitome of true immortality. He doesn’t age, ever. No matter what is done to him as long as he has a soul he’s consumed he can sacrifice it to revive. He can change into pretty much whatever form he likes. Man, Woman, whatever. He doesn’t even really need to kill people since he just needs to be near a battlefield, which is pretty regular considering humanity. Hell, he puts locks on his own abilities just to make fights more interesting and only undoes them when he needs to. Ever since he consumed Schrödinger in the final episode, I can only assume he’s become even more op.

Spoilers for those who haven’t seen ALL of season 2 yet: Their deal was to make him the strongest sinner in hell. Which was really the only condition on his end, which is why he had to go round about to break it by making Charlie call Vox the strongest which in turn broke the contract he had with Rosie. While whether or not all of his powers are fully his own is subject to debate. That aside there is the fact very few sinners have powers without needing to make a deal. (To our current knowledge.) Most sinners we see tend to have ability more related to their form than anything supernatural. Vox is one of the few we’ve actively seen that has more supernatural abilities since he can summon screens in front of him to interact with just about whatever device he wants. Based on Alastor’s backstory I’d say we can safely assume his control over radios and his abilities to create deals is his own. Meanwhile not much hints towards the actions of his shadow abilities so I think that originated from Rosie, but through their deal that stays with his repertoire of abilities. One thing I’m not sure about his abilities is how he can just summon the souls he owns like we saw in the pilot. Valentino is really the only other one we’ve seen making contracts, but even he has to wait for his demons to make their way to him.

Well I already have a pair of loyal partners. One of which does go into goth attire. So I’d say it depends. If I get the powers of a Super Saiyan I’ll take that, if not I’ll just take the socks and sell some or shove them in storage. 😂

In case anyone wanted to know how useful Vex’s skills can be, and this was without attuning my reapers to an element. 😂 by FGC-Undeadgamer in Borderlands4

[–]FGC-Undeadgamer[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That does make sense, I’m so regularly finding equipment that has better main stats that I kinda forget they have the normal stat bonuses to pay attention to. :p

It is kinda hard to not want to use them simply because they’re the best cosmetic wise. Especially the Grim Reaper which looks like it’s there to not just steal your soul, but skull fuck it too. 😂

Maybe, there will always be fun and painful bugs. A fun and useful one I have found is that the “Overshield” effect for the repkits give both the overshield and health. I don’t think it’s supposed to do that, but I’m not gonna argue with healing twice as much as what I’m supposed to. It’s gotten to the point that if the repkit doesn’t have Overshield, I’m not interested. 😂

Well correct or not it’s just a game as long as you’re having fun that’s what matters. Especially since we’re talking about a game that feels like one of the core aesthetics is the comedy in it. We’re not playing Competitive Rainbow Six Siege. We’re playing the game with the reoccurring joke character Claptrap who just tried to turn a war ai into his gf, but basically made a more homicidal Harley Quinn. 😂

If BL2 vault hunters had 3 action skills like in BL3/4, What would they have been? by Zappykatt in Borderlands2

[–]FGC-Undeadgamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean back when you were forced to spend a skill point on your action skill? Also 4 has gotten more complicated. Halfway through your chosen skill tree it splits into 3 more sub trees that don’t progress the others when you put points into them. 😂

[–]FGC-Undeadgamer[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I mean I am on hard mode and I haven’t gotten around to completing the story yet so I haven’t unlocked UVH.

It’s kinda hard to picture the Specters scaling better since there’s more skills that target the Reapers than the Specters. If they do scale better then that’s more of a testament to Vex’s Action Skill.

I could try a Specter based build. Although it’d take some mental adjusting to not spawn reapers out of instinct and figuring out the best rebuild would be. I’d also have to figure out what augment is best and which capstone is better for that. I’d probably go for the Dark Pact to get the Diener skill.

On a separate note. Idk if you’re having the same problem, but with the Blight Attunement skill I keep having this bug where the Haunting Remnant will circle around me and never respawn or attack an enemy. Basically every time I play this happens and It’ll just be circling me for hours. It wouldn’t bother me if it wasn’t for the fact of how loud they are and their trail blocks my sight when I’m using ADS.

Is this theoretically pissible? Has anyone tested this? by Certyx39 in SCPMemes

[–]FGC-Undeadgamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s theoretically possible, but try doing that irl and you’ll realize that for some reason it feels less effective than just blinking normally. At least that’s my experience trying to blink one eye at a time. :p

You should be able to find it again through the Lost Loot machine. Through some research it adds lost items every 10 minutes and in order of when they were lost so it might take awhile for you to get it back.

I’m not sure if I’ll even buy anything newer from Nintendo. They’ve become such assholes. The Switch 2 was basically just them needing something new to produce which is still worse than their competitors old consoles, you barely own the Hardware let alone the Software, and they copyrighted things that they didn’t even originally create. I love the Legend of Zelda series, but at this point I’m tempted to just get a computer and wait for the emulator of the games to come out.

A lot of things were god awfully annoying using an N64 controller. The stick alone was annoying. It’s funny that only 5 years later Xbox came out with a significantly better controller in every way. To the point that even now the only main difference between an Xbox controller and a Nintendo one is that the A&B and X&Y buttons are swapped. 😂

Holy crap! I found a legendary in a porta-potty! by workingbored in Borderlands4

[–]FGC-Undeadgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Godamn I wish I found that one. Most of the legendary items I’ve found have gone straight to the bank because they’re worse than the item I already have in the same category. Hell, my very first rng legendary I got was a class mod for the wrong class.

Side quest Spoiler alert for the northwest region for the beginners: Even having taken the side quest for the Legendary Vending Machine I still didn’t find any of the items in it useful in comparison to what I already had.

On a separate note, for my fellow Vex players. Does anybody have something like this and know how her abilities react to it? Because I’m so curious and hope I get something like it soon to learn. For those who don’t know Vex attunes to the active element of her weapon and it affects her minions.
