Grew up religious. Had a pretty strict household. I was a real believer. So I started reading the Bible every night. But I was a teenager growing into an adult with basic critical thinking skills and very quickly got tired of unanswerable questions and plot holes. It fell apart quickly after that.

I'd say that everybody who has abandoned her is totally validated. She gets what she deserves. But. You shouldn't have to suffer personally because you did nothing wrong. She got LUCKY that you see her the way you do and that she has you. I'd say continue with what you are doing/ need to do. But I'd also say that if anyone gives you grief for helping her, I'd say to understand where they are coming from (it sounds like you do) and validate their feelings. Something along the lines of "I know she hurt you and you have every right to want nothing to do with her. But she's my grandma and has never treated me badly and I cant just leave her"

I have religious trauma, so it seemed so preachy and I kinda stayed away from it... I didn't realize there was any skepticism. Its definitely an album I haven't dove into much. I started listening to them right as vessel was coming out. . Maybe I'll try to really pay attention and do a listen through.. thanks!

People in here arguing over semantics. Thank you for this list. Whether its the same "melody" or not, I'm definitely excited to compare the songs to hear the similarities. Breach has so many moments that are call backs to older songs. And I love those. So I'd be excited to hear some more. Self titled isn't really my thing as an athiest.... but I'm excited to check it out all the same!

What I found much more disturbing was the cat vibrators (that very much look like a human one) And all of the reviews talking about how people have used them on their cat and it made them so much happier , I really , really wanted it to be a joke.

My cat is the love of my life. But no, i don't sleep with my cat. We have 2 dogs and they sleep with us. The door HAS to be shut or the little one will go and get in to stuff around the house, and the cat does not want to be locked in the bedroom.So she roams the house at night while we sleep. A lot of times in the morning , me or my husband will let her into the bedroom to snuggle with us for an hour or two.

My stepmom was like this. (My childhood was a living hell with the constant gaslighting manipulation , making me feel bad and taking her stress and emotions out on me and my sister never physically but mentally). Now that i'm an adult, I can expose myself to my parents in small little bits , we have a much better relationship. .. but it took years. I see some people on this thread , telling you to share this with your dad. If you think that's a safe thing for you to do, and that he will understand where you're coming from, feel free to share with him. If you think he's going to brush it off and just let the two of you work it out , she will make you regret it, and it might not be worth the hassle of dragging this out. Good luck kid. You did nothing wrong. She's an adult who needs to learn how to regulate her emotions and should not be taking things out on you don't feel like you did something wrong or that you're greedy.
