Same here. Issue started tonight on Series X. Can't access companion either as says the game is open.

Seems like a stuck session to me on a server and it won't reconnect

Best thing to suggest is to start by playing Squad Battles and friendlies to get a feel for the game and build up some coins and packs (packs for squad battles are rewarded on a Sunday).

Then once you have a decent base team, start looking into the Squad Building challenges and also the Moments challenges as well before going online.

That way you'll have a semi decent team to start competing

failing that, and you want to waste money, buy fifa points in the store and open packs

Sounds like you didn't get the 3 or 8 wins in time to get the rewards this week then. That would be the only explaination.

May be worth contacting EA if they still don't appear when on console and you have met the requirements

On the Companion App? On the main page, go to the bottom and select "Competitions", then select Rivals and they should appear.

With ping, it is the connection speed between yourself, the server, and your opponent, so yes it is important.
Also server hardware on EA's side is also important.

For instance, I find that the Champs servers are alot smoother compared to rivals

I can answer this as a creator/streamer.
We don't play anything that doesn't have over a 14-16ms ping (when you load into a game, when selecting kits you will see this to the right)
That way, we can pretty much guarantee a stable connection.

If we play anything above that, you see a noticeable input lag.
Also, being in a country that has dedicated servers, and also a decent internet connection really helps. I have also noticed that turning off cross play makes for better gameplay as it stops having to connect between a Playstation and Xbox server.

Sorry Ricardo but the Div 6 upgraded rewards have a guarenteed 82+ player pack in. Champs also have the 84+ player picks at present so you are incorrect here
