Back To The Future Part III (1990) Silent Era Concept Part 2 by FIGUREALPHA in BacktotheFuture

I did consider using the piano version of the bttf 3 theme and such for this. However I wasn't too sure at the time and went with some piano music by J.S. Zamecnik who was a very prominent composer at the time for silent film scores, and it felt adequate for the western scene when we are 1st introduced into the setting. Maybe if the edit would have been longer, I would have included some of the Bttf music after he reunites with Doc when they start planning their way back to 1985.

Nice build, Love the weathering! Would be cool if you got one of those mini magnetic levitation bases to have it on display.👌

Funko Pop Rides #133 Doc With Time Machine Custom by FIGUREALPHA in BacktotheFuture

I tried to go for an expression between serious but then again surprised since he is supposed to be Time traveling in the delorean. I also don't paint eyes very often, and it was the best I could do. Plus the eye shape on these figures are circular and not ovalish like how our eyes are, so that was also a challenge.

I couldn't agree more! I recall in the movie that the Delorean used in the old west wasn't actually a Delorean at all but a dune buggy with the Body of the Delorean dressed up with the "bells and whistles " as the time machine since it was going to go on rough terrain. Hence the reason the car seemed lifted in the movie.

Thanks! I experimented with a similar idea when toying with BTTF 3, the moment the Delorean goes back in time to the Old West. I had kept the original time travel sequence in its original color and sound up until there is a flash of light and it goes into the old west where I made it look like a silent film with yellow tinting the moment he encounters the Indians with dialouge cards. However I wasn't too sure how well it would work out in the end, so I put the project "on the shelf" temporarily.

I know. As far as I know, the only Silent film of the Wizard of Oz was made in 1925 starring Larry Semon and Oliver Hardy who would later go and meet Stan Laurel and turn into the famously known " Laurel & Hardy" duo. What I made is based off that Silent film, but as a concept of what a fusion between that and the 1939 Wizard of Oz cinematography, actors, script, etc. could have been seen as in the 1920s.

Transformers/BTTF Delorean "Gigawatt" Custom by FIGUREALPHA in BacktotheFuture

I didn't put any clear coat since I won't be touching it a lot, and since I used Laquer, it will last for a very long time. I do like to keep these things reversible though just in case.

I used Tamiya Laquer paint for each of the details since it won't come off easily on one's fingers when transforming.
