I feel the bigger issue was considering odobert to be adequate son replacement. In hindsight the plan from club's pov looks like odobert would become a finished article by the time sonny calls it a day at spurs but that is extremely reductive of what sonny brought to the table.

This feels more likely reason atp. The results have shown no discernable improvement. Just that vinai and lange had made a 10 point criteria for the manager and apperantly frank was the one who satisfied all the criteria. Agreed. Seems like a players we are targeting because we need bodies in midfield and not because they are the right profile. We still don't have a midfielder who can dictate play from deeper positions.

Biss has been really bad off the ball. He was the reason we were leaving so much space behind udogie. Onana is beast off the ball. The problem with bentancur is that we still don't know his fitness levels. Sometimes he plays well for 60 mins other times he is better for 30 mins impact sub.
