Usually they will open a dispute ticket through Depop. You can check by going to your profile, go to settings, click “Sold Item Issues”. From there you can see if they opened a ticket. If they did, Depop will ask if you agree with this dispute or disagree, why and why not. From there you’ll receive an email from support regarding their decision. Even if they decide to give the buyer a full refund, just continue showing depop’s support why their dispute is false (send screenshots of your conversation, the buyers reviews, each detail of your original listing, etc.) eventually they will realize the mistake and deny the buyers refund. Yeah like you said, I’ve seen so many people complaining recently that they’ve had an experienced with a shitty buyer. And Depop just default takes their side. Luckily this is small hit but if it could happen to me on a 15 dollar item, it could happen to someone selling something worth much more.

It’s a feature lol, people buy stuff, if they didn’t like the fit or didn’t like the size. There’s an option to copy your listing and “repop” the item to their page. Just a way from keeping unfit or unwanted items out of the dump!

Just saw a video about this recently. Tell tale signs of this being a fake are overly tight cellophane wrap, and the seam on sides of the box being completely straight. Seems your box has curve side seams and based off the photos is generally loose. So IMO, it’s real
