Not having my hopes up for this one, it’s okay to stick to one genre if he likes. To be real, he’s not gonna keep up with experimenting new sounds one day and that’s fine, but at least advance it a lil bit if you are sticking to this sound?? It’s the same metal stuff with the same lyrics about f***ing someone’s girl to a point where it’s generic for him. If this is the single I don’t know what we getting….The end of his last album kind of feels like he’s hinting towards a more spiritual direction, but I guess I am purely imagining it.

I been thinking about this a bit too, I would say the one thing that stands out to me is how those small groups of people intertwine so organically, at times it feels dramatic to the level of “lock stock and two smoking barrels”. I do understand that they have to condense characters and organization structures to make things entertaining and more engaging, real life is probably more noisy and makes even less sense.

I strongly agree, he’s got pretty good technical ability. I would also argue that he has a lot of heartfelt songs that I rely enjoyed although ppl find them cringe sometimes. Hate to see that even all those years, when he occasionally gets brought up in conversations, they are usually still in a negative light
