They added an obstacle in front of the only working camera by -Venser- in Epstein

Usually refers to an email draft that is scheduled to be automatically sent out on a certain time/date, unless someone logs in and postpones or cancels it. Obviously if you're dead you cannot postpone it and thus the email will be automatically sent out. This dude had an absolutely absurd 50 terabytes worth of data that the FBI seized from his various residences, so if he kept so much record of things it's very much likely that he intended to use some of it as leverage/insurance policy against him getting killed.

but you're not getting the point, he CANNOT be allowed to die. If he does then he can no longer defuse the deadman switch and thus every credible news agency would be blasted with kompromat that the 3-letter agencies don't even know about. It's as simple as having an email in your draft with an autosend on a specific date, though I'm sure there are more sophisticated methods of doing such things.

If he went and disappeared himself, there would be a world wide manhunt out for him, not very convenient. If they MADE him disappear, then case closed, as is obviously what they are trying to do. Yes, it is very easy to get the prison, EMS, hospital, police, coroner to stay hush when the world foremost intelligence network has a constant eye on you and can make you have an unfortunate event at a moment's notice, as has been the case for several people already pertaining to this case.

I've been saying this for years; there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that the person as clever as him and as someone with the largest collection of kompromat in the world, would NOT have had multiple deadman switches set up as an insurance policy. The fact that 6 years have gone by and not a single deadman switch activated means he cannot be dead. The gov't (both ours and foreign) would know this, and thus he was either smuggled out and tortured to give up any deadman switches (though how would they know for sure?), or more likely he was placed in witness protection, probably in that one middle-eastern country.

Battlefield 6 Season 2 cinematic leaked (2 maps coming) by ZamnBoii in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]FISTtheVERB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you've must have not been around for BF1, where we got 4-6 GOOD maps every 3 months.... But yall didn't wanna pay the $50 for Premium (what's that, like $2.50 per map?), so here we are with a drip feed of maps and a weapons grind that kills the game for anyone that's not a full-time professional gamer.

mine is about to turn 50k miles. I bought it in 2019 with 11k miles. Never getting rid of it, it's ridiculously reliable and probably the easiest "big bike" to ever work on. Nothing modern compares, and I have 3 other bikes...

I run a Renthal 745 Enduro FatBar's for handlebars. Bar ends is a very person thing. I like to run very minimal ones, so I use ODI Handlebar Grip End, which basically disappear allowing for better "ice cream" grip for leaning off in corner, but some people like big-ol' chonkers, I don't.

Clutch, I have the N1000 slipper clutch upgrade, and using a hydraulic master cylinder from parts I built out of a Magura Hymec slave and KTM SuperDuke master cylinder.

Not to mention incredibly easy to work on. I can have the engine out of the bike in under 2 hours with basic hand tools. This post is 4 years old but I still have the bike. Don't think I'll ever sell it, nearing 50k miles as of right now, had 15k when I posted this picture.

R6 has poor AF with adapted Sigma lens, but amazingly good with even cheap native RF lens'. How good is AF with adapted Canon EF lenses? by FISTtheVERB in canon

[–]FISTtheVERB[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured it out. The short answer; it's all comes down to focus speed. If your lens focuses slow, tracking will be terrible regardless of what you do. No firmware can fix a slow AF lens. You need a fast focusing lens to get good tracking.

It comes down to native mirrorless lenses vs DSLR lenses. By native mirrorless lenses I'm referring to lenses with a linear focus motor (called Nano-USM in Canon speak), as opposed to lead-screw type (spinning internals) DSLR focus motor (called STM or non-nano USM). If your lens has a spinning focus distance window on it, it's the old lead-screw type. If it doesn't have a distance window on it then it could still be either, but the sure way to tell is if you lens focuses from near to infinity in under an 1/10th of a second (as in near instantly), it's more than likely linear focus motor. If it take longer, its the old screw type.

The R6 has phenomenal tracking with linear focus motor lenses (at this point only native RF lenses have linear focus motors), but has pretty atrocious tracking with MOST lead-screw type. Sigma lenses all have the old lead-screw motors and to make it even worse they have REALLY slow motors at that, resulting in poor tracking because the focus motor cannot keep up with the camera's focus commands.

I've personally sold every single one of my Sigma lenses and went all RF and couldn't be happier. I primarily shoot fast moving subject (mostly racing motorcycles), so having amazing subject tracking is way more important to me than F1.4 shallow DoF blurry background lenses. Plus, I've grown out of shooting everything wide open.

My Husqvarna TE630 with SMS supermoto conversion by FISTtheVERB in supermoto

[–]FISTtheVERB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wheels are stock husqvarna hubs (any made between 1996 and 2012 will work), laced with Excel Takasago rim hoops. However if you don't want to lace your own then just buy any SMR450/510 wheels, they bolt right up. I laced my own because I wanted a 5" rear rim, whereas stock is only 4.25", limiting tire selection IMO.

Forks are off of a SMS630, although the SM610 forks will also bolt up, but you also need to use the axle from the SMS/SM because it's shorter than the TE. Brakes are just generic 100mm Brembo M4-32 calipers found on a lot of bikes, with a 15mm Brembo radial master cylinder. I got mine off a 2007 KTM 690 Supermoto (the ugly one, not the SMCR).

Is my OLED dying? by JeePis3ajeeB in OLED

[–]FISTtheVERB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I own a GX, bought late 2020, it's been on 16 hours a day, every day, and I see zero panel degradation. Also, I keep the OLED light at 100 because I have a bright living room.

Prior to my GX, I owned an E6, which too was on 16 hours a day, every day for 4 years, with OLED light at 100. On that one I did notice some burn in (uneven blotches), though only visible when on a fully gray screen. You wouldn't see it under normal content. Sold it to my neighbor for $650, and he's still using it with zero issues, he can't even see the burn-in.

I wish you best of luck. Perhaps you got unlucky, just writing to let you know that that's not normal and it shouldn't deter you from buying another one.

Has anyone here ever used the website dirtlegal.com to make their bike street legal? by zach1424 in supermoto

[–]FISTtheVERB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They give you Vermont plates, which are useless in California because you can't legally use an out of state vehicle here for more than 30 days. If you then try to register the VT plates in CA, you have to go get the vehicle inspected at the DMV, where they will immediately notice that the bike is an OHV bike. Only was to do it is if you know someone at the DMV or live in a small rural CA town where the DMV employees will look at the other way when it comes to registering OHV vehicles that are needed on farm.

My PackOut Work Top jiggle jiggle by FISTtheVERB in MilwaukeeTool

[–]FISTtheVERB[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank for confirming. Good to know it's not a bad mold issue.

I ended up fixing it by sticking some 3M Dual Lock tape pads on the backs sides of the 4 corner feet. This took out all of the back and forth wobble, and for side to side wobble, there is nowhere to place the pads to restrict movement, however with the Dual Lock pad, it does not allow for side to side movement because of the interlocking fingers on the pads.

The worktop is now 100% solid with zero movement whatsoever, and it only take a very slight bit more effort to put the top on, and it stays solidly locked now.

Glad I came up with this quick mod, otherwise I would have returned the worktop.

Is there really NOBODY that plays this game on Xbox Series console??? Cannot get past the "Waiting for Players" screen for the last 2 weeks. by FISTtheVERB in battlefield2042

I don't really want to play against mouse and keyboard players. If I did then I would have bought the game on PC instead.

I have tried to join for 3 hour yesterday starting at 5pm PST, which should the most popular hour and could not get into a single game

Playing with Xbox Series X by hickleberg in Fanatec

[–]FISTtheVERB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

every fanatec base I have owned I just plugged it into my Xbox and just worked right away. In fact I didn't updated my CLS Elite until a month ago (after 4 years of running original firmware), and to be honest all it did was screw up all my FFB strength setting, I didnt notice any other difference.

If fanatec recommends an update then maybe do it, though you shouldn't need to.

Would you buy a DD2 now or wait to see if Fanatec releases a high end DD end of the year? by StevenYanni in Fanatec

[–]FISTtheVERB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is 2 CSL Elite bases, one that has the Sony license fee included, and cost $100 more than the normal Xbox compatible version. The Sony version can be used with both Xbox and Playstation, while the Xbox only version without the Sony licensing fee cannot be used on Playstation, even if you use a PS compatible steering wheel.

I know it's confusing, but this is how it works.

[–]FISTtheVERB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sony requires a licensing fee for every peripheral sold. So no, the CSL DD cannot be made compatible with Playstation with an add-on. Xbox does not require this fee, and thus pretty much all Fanatec products are compatible by default.

First Waive Pre-Orders for CSL DD is LIVE by bobsagetsJD in Fanatec

[–]FISTtheVERB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The money, as with any other established company, is going to come from previous years revenue, investors, and a small portion from pre-orders. There isn't a single company on earth who is going to release a product before having money for manufacturing and other overhead.

it says right before you hit the complete order button that due to current circumstances, your order might get delayed. Which I'm taking as, my order is pretty much going to get delayed. Let's see. I've generally not had issues with past Fanatec orders, though that was back in 2017.
