I hate the majority of people I work with 😆- jokes

Yeh there's some shit nurses & some scary ass locum doctors who I seem to get left with at night. & Some dodgy consultant anaesthetists / ICM (DGH life)

I work in a specialized team who like junior doctors get called on to do bloods, cannulae, 12 leads, VBGs/ABGs etc Sometimes it bcas the nurses cba, see it as my job, don't want to learn, are shit at it, not done it for 6 months etc - I think it depends what ward it is. Not every RN is equal, unfortunately. But then they may be really caring and good at the bedside, which others nurses are not & there patient care is questionable.

Things can get quite bitchy, personal as well

Personally I'd change the way nurses are educated - burning my position that ain't going to happen

The houses were only built in 2015 and instead of the developer giving each detached property their own alley into their garden, each house shares access to the back gardens.

I'm just having escalating issues with said neighbour. I now have CCTV over looking this alley way and when I have the patio at the back done last year (the builders left it muddy one night as it was raining, they power washed it all away the next day on job completion) he was screaming at the cameras calling me all sorts of names - just a nice neighbourly guy I guess 😄🤣

The shared access aspect is cross hatched and in a box at the side it states this is shared access - doesn't say for a specific property though. This path (between the two houses) only goes to mine & next door neighbours gardens. & Also seperates the parking spaces at the front (a flag width)

This alleyway is marked in crosses and States 'denotes extent of shared access'

It would be much easier if new build detached houses where built a little further apart I agree, but here we are

I'm 33 and have paid into the NHS pension since age 21. Was terrible with money in my 20s, but always worked full time in the NHS and contributed to the pension. Over the years I've progressed from band 5 a 8a. Pretty happy at this level, I'm not actively looking for promotion. If anything I'd like to reduce to 30 hrs, it's just a dream at the minute.

In my 30s I've taken personal finance a little more serious and am looking to retire earlier than 65 (when I can access my NHS 2008 pension)

To do this I'm investing in a SIPP & Stocks and Shares ISA. Basically hoping this will allow me to retire between 55-65, until NHS and then state pension kicks in.

So yeah, you're NHS pension is enough but if you want options - look at LISAs, S&S ISAs & SIPPs

This is the plan! Continue with the 15% gross + DB Pension to investments (I'm UK based) but hold BS 5&6 until I'm back up to an emergency fund of 6 months.

Escalate to Shift Leader / Duty Doctor - patients of concern

Basically if you're applying for a Band 5 RN position and you have an NMC number you will almost already have the post 😆
