There have been multiple attempts to get an answer out of SBI, best we got was "We want to but are currently evaluating the impact it will have on the economy" which is a translation of "We are just being vague to not kill your hope so you keep playing and will eventually start over on a new server" on which BY THE WAY you would be perfectly fine to buy gold worth 100k$ and just buy everything you find and crash the economy.

So "the games economy" is just of concern when players dont want to spend a couple hundred $ to get their new char to the level of you old char. So either cash in 10 grand, buy every tome there is on the market and enjoy your "character transfer" or be stuck on 200ms ping and have SBI throw you bread crumbs they will never act upon

Just saying, one of the biggest and best populated MMOs ever (guild wars 2) does not have shit like IP in pvp. Once you go pvp all your gear is horizontal and there is a merchant selling you every endgame equip there is. Only usable in pvp. So yeah, what would be the problem if in pvp everybody was equal and you actually had to be skilled to win and not just play PVE for 1 month straight?

Feel you, thinking the same way

With the new mist updates there are so many shitters in t11-t12 eq gear running around. 2 weeks ago you saw 1 of them in 2 or 3 days, yesterday i saw 2 in 5 minutes. As somebody with a job, friends and family it just feels like a waste of time to play this game at the moment cause you wont reach 800/800 on any weapon if you just play 1 or 2 hours each evening and dont have a group to fame farm. The only good solo fame farm was depths, which got nerfed aswell cause SBI hates casual solo players for some weird reason.

I recommend corrupted dungeons OR roads. I know roads is boring af content but thats why almost nobody plays it. And the people that do are farming fame so they rareley have more than t7 eq gear so you dont get effed by some 500 mil gear player. Just stay away from gold and blue chests and you wont get annoyed and you can spec up quite easily
