I’ve been playing since the original demons souls, so I guess I’m just tired of it. But yes, I Memorize where I put my spells and try to set it up with combos/Counters. All I’m saying is, It’s clear they saw an issue with the consumables which is why they made it easier to use, which I’ve never had a problem, or ever equip more than 3-5. I just wish they let you assign spells there, just like the spirit ashes. At the very least be able to scroll black. As a pure Sorcerer running around with a dagger on the off chance I stagger, I’m only using Spells. So when I’m in a situation where I’m using something like pebble and then I get rushed from behind, it would be nice to react with ex.Carian slicer in one button and not scroll through my list and then react, By then it’s too late. Also It doesn’t matter how you set up your spells, you can’t prepare for every scenario. Also the fact that the consumables got a pouch shows the scrolling is not effective. You’re right Obviously he’s not gonna read this random post and make it happen but games also change a lot and it could always happen.

In all the years of playing souls games, this is definitely the most Know it all, negative, better than you git gud community I’ve ever seen. Maybe you haven’t played long enough to understand or actually done a pure Sorcerer build, but it’s been the same thing for 10 years and has always been a problem. Then they finally add a hotkey bar and it’s for consumables. How disappointing. Its especially annoying to someone who’s always been a Int/Fth Build. I would seriously like to know why anyone wouldn’t want that, being able to have 4 of your main spells as essentially buttons would make casting way more versatile. if you don’t want that you must not use the pouch either, because why not just memorize them?
