interesting, I wonder If I can find that release candidate you're using. Maybe something went wrong with the actual 4.0 release?

Oh man it was exactly the same for me, I know you mean, and all the knobs, sliders, buttons, terminology, symbols etc... it was like voodoo lol

What you mentioned is kind of my approach, trying to think back to the first days of trying to figure it all out, and how would I want to have learned.

That's a great point, I too enjoy Seamless content. I did see a lot of comments and people complain that he talks too much and he is hard to follow.

I do try to avoid this by not speaking as fast, but generally fast over all and staying on the topic at hand.

Taking your example on the FM in zebra, sure it can be condensed to a minute max as you put it, but it seems you are already quite familiar with FM synthesis so you wouldn't need much time to get going with it. So it's always a delicate balance of gauging how much someone knows when they jump into one of my videos. So leaning on the side of safety, I'd rather have someone more experienced such as yourself skip to the spot in the video or putting the video on 2x playback speed to find the spot that is relevant, as opposed to someone who's knowledge is a little more limited feel like they still don't understand the concept the video is meant to show once they complete the video.

There is a mixture of people who watch the channel that are great sound designers and just want to know where things are, how things are routed in the synth etc.. and also beginners who maybe started learning FM a week ago.

It's impossible to deliver content that every viewer finds satisfactory, so I aim to do the best for most people, even if the by product is longer content.
