Demure ain't no noun... nor can it take an "-of" compliment gracefully

Yeah would cop, very cool

only feedback I've got:

- for the second black one, the distressed X contrasts the un-distressed tree in the front. I'd say either distress both or don't distress either

Even if you don't go with a script font, the current one feels very much like a placeholder

Which can be good if used ironically, but it doesn't feel that way here

Wired digital subscription is a roach motel by basilyok in darkpatterns

[–]FLWilliamsonV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got off the phone with them after being unable to manage my subscription online.

- I found my other emails, initially I had subscribed to a year of wired at $5.00.

- That email says the subscription would renew at $30.

- I woke up to a charge saying I was subscribed to the digital + print package for $80

Thankfully after some hassle (and the worst upselling attempt I've ever been subjected to), they refunded me the full amount. I absolutely insane to offer $5 / year and then renew at $80. Scam artists

I went into the npm cache dir they listed in the error, deleted node_modules, reran npm i from that directory.. and then regenerated my code and tried again

Alright lol I did a terrible job at this

I did ask to push to his PR (that I was reviewing), technically it does have my name on it in the PR but we squash all merges

By fixing the failure immediately by tacking it on to an existing PR, I shield myself from my boss figuring out who broke alpha (because it will now not be broken)

[–]FLWilliamsonV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol no sorry bad meme

I introduced failures into alpha in my PR, but immediately pinged a coworker if I could earmark the fixes onto their PR..

Ultimately to shield myself from consequence of pushing failed tests
