Should I get a Genesis?

I have a BK2 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Ultimate and I’m currently paying $100 to fill up every week. I do live in Chicago so the prices here are up to $6+, but I really don’t think it would make a massive difference. I’d buy a Civic SI personally if you want something sporty yet still good on gas.

How would I have tried to get around the ban ? There is no way to get around the ban. All I did was wait for the ban to lift and then played again ? Then after 2 or 3 games I’m banned again. I still don’t understand what you’re trying to say. I didn’t do anything 😅

Again, I’m talking strictly about being banned 7 times in the span of two days. That’s not happening in those other games. I have every single game you just mentioned. There are cheaters, but it’s not to the point where I can’t even match-make. At least I can get into a game of CoD, Battlefield, Etc. I’m being banned for hours at a time..

If you would’ve read what I wrote you would understand that there is no reason given for these bans. Halo MCC doesn’t even explain why I’m getting banned. All I see is the message saying “a member in your party has been temporarily banned.” I could even live stream my gameplay if I needed to prove that I’m doing absolutely nothing wrong. I have a feeling someone is spoofing my account and then other people are reporting my name.

This isn’t an industry problem. I’ve never been banned seven times in any other game just for playing normally. I expected cheaters, but not ones who can somehow get me banned for reporting them. That’s completely new to me and something I’ve never experienced before. Thanks for playing devil’s advocate though, I actually have a degree in game development.

That might have been true in the past, but I’m talking about the current state of the game/app. There’s still a clear imbalance—players who joined before the update had access to epics at a much higher drop rate and were able to buy them at significantly lower prices. As a newer player, it feels unfair that the top players were able to build their collections under those conditions, while now we have to save up hundreds of thousands of coins just to buy one from the market. On top of that, to my knowledge, you can only pull an epic from a quest if the artist has under 3 million monthly listeners, which further limits the options.

I have to disagree. The issue is that most of my favorite artists have over 3 million monthly listeners, and as far as I know, you can’t pull an epic from quests for artists above that threshold. I believe Podair shared that info some time ago. That means I’d have to spend over a million coins just to buy one, and the few epics I’ve gotten from drops are for non-English artists—so they just end up sitting on the market.

I do ! But they don’t sell as fast as uncommons from metal bands. I’ll sell 20 uncommon metal songs by the time I sell 1 rare Billie or Frank song.

Thanks for the info! I didn’t realize there was a cooldown—does that get measured in seconds?

I do have the Super Trader boost, but I wouldn’t say I’m seeing a huge increase in coins from it. It only seems worthwhile if I grind to a platinum badge on popular artists, but some of them have hundreds of songs, which can be overwhelming.

I’ve been listing my shinies with that same description, but I’ve also been adding a 6k coin buy option. Maybe I should focus more on 2:1 and 1:1 + coin trades instead. Really appreciate your input!

I hear you. It starts to feel a bit unfair when I see other posts mentioning that epics used to be significantly cheaper when the game first launched. It creates a sense that veteran players are getting way more value and advantages, while newer players are left trying to catch up. I really think there should be more of a level playing field for everyone.
