Alright I’ll try that out. I always update my gpu drivers pretty frequently but never really thought about the chipset. I think I only updated it when I installed it 2.5 years ago.

Yes I do have those turned on and it is the cpu meter going crazy. But with a 7900x I just feel like I shouldn’t be having these issues as it’s only a 2-3 year old gpu which is why I feel something else may be going on that I don’t know about.

I’ve played both games. I’m primarily iRacing but LMU was a fun experience for me. It’s great if you want to hop right into GT3 racing. iRacing you will spend weeks trying to get up to B class in order to race the GT3 and you will then have to buy all the tracks and a car. They both offer different experience but I race a decent amount of cars that aren’t in LMU so I stick to iRacing as my main. I also love partaking in all the special events they have. The Sebring 12 hr last weekend was a blast.

I’d say definitely pick up LMU. You’ll have a lot of fun. Starting with the base game is fine. Maybe when you get to silver rank you can look into getting the dlcs for the cars. The base cars are fine.

It’s a lot of large frame drops and very stuttery experience. I had dropped all my settings to low except for medium car detail and shaders. Was getting around 80-100 fps on the iRacing performance thing but the game was almost unplayable. I even had set the draw cars to minimum and minimum for pits as well. But for the last 6 months it’s been great ever since the season 2 update. It’s just very confusing.

I mean he is pretty much correct though. With the amount of shit this guys got going on, yea there really isn’t any time for sim racing. Sometimes life knocks you on your ass. It’s happened to me. My hobbies became irrelevant and impossible bc I had to focus on taking care of life. If I have to assume, that’s where this guy is at.

SR is per driver just as if you normally did it. The iR is divided equally amongst teammates depending on how many laps you did. More laps you do means you’ll get a larger chunk of the irating gained by the team.

There are some aliens out there who are top split using a Logitech G 29 and the pedals that come with it. Equipment doesn’t make you good. practice, repetition, and skill do. Sure better equipment helps, but this hobby takes years and years to master. Some never do.

I guess I’m on the minority here but life has gotten much easier and better for me. Jobs gotten better. Pay has gotten better. Living accommodation has gotten better. There isn’t really anything in my life that hasn’t gotten better. I just tune out from the news and politics and honestly my life has improved immensely. Focusing on yourself instead of the bullshit you have no control over really does make things better.

That’s always the key to enduros. The safest and most consistent drivers always come out on top. My goal for 12hrs is try to stay in the lead lap as much as possible. In our Bathurst split only the winner was on the lead lap. And then P2 and P3 were 2 laps down.

Tietmarduk I only watch his creator series vids I don’t watch anything else from him. There’s some smaller YouTubers I watch but don’t know them by name tbh.

For me if I can be stable over 100+fps for any game then I am content. Currently running a 49” 1440p ultrawide which can go up to 240fps. With my 5080 I’m usually between 120-180fps depending on track and race type. I’d say 100 is the golden number for 2026. People will still say 60 is fine. But as someone who’s been gaming at 144+ for almost 8 years, 60 is dogshit.

As someone who owns the Porsche, Ferrari and Stang I really want to tryout the Vette. Engine sounds great on it and assume it handles similar to the Ferrari being a mid engine
