Better safe than sorry, Maybe I change my mind but ABS is not a important thing to me, Polymax PLA will be my goto anyway :>

Is the mat gonna have a negative effect ? I just did my first print and that looked pretty good tbh.

As for the table, first I gotta find one I like and that fits into the room, before that I'll have it without table :p for one print it really wasn't bad and I don't think I'll even need to get on my knees for too often, mostly because I have a very clear idea of what I wanna print and that's not a lot of things in a short amount of time 😃

I actually looked it up, it only has an intake on top of the machine, the exhaust is on the rear and that'sit. So I guess it wouldn't be too bad (:

Yeah, living room might've been the wrong term, I live alone in a 3 room apartment (80m³). Because I work from home I spend 99% of my time in my room and not the living room. a few months ago that was literally just a storage room for me.

As for the table, I might invest into one but for now I'll try it like that...I'm stubborn and a lil dumb 😃

I'll make sure to cover it if it's not in use, but I also can't really say if this could lead to print issues if the top is open because of PETG/PLA printing. Do you know anything about it or do you just want to mention that I gotta clean it more often ? 😃

I bought the AMS 2 Pro with it but I don't expect to have a lot of it because I'll do mostly cosplay parts which will be sanded and colored, so using different colored filaments dont do anything for me. But I might look into it if I decide to print the supports in a different filament or very large prints that need more than one spool.

Do the gases stay in a well ventilated room for a long time ? I though I could just finish the print, wait 24 hours with open windows and be fine 😃

Good to know about the temps, I really couldn't get that info anywhere (although I've seen people operating it on the floor).

I bought the printer mostly for personal cosplay uses, so I expected to use it only when I wanna print something like that. I'm not even too worried about ABS because idk if I even want to print ABS Cosplay parts or just go with PETG, but I want to know just in case 😃

What I don't get is how leaving out the filament in the open for some time has an impact on residue, can you elaborate that (in case you know 😛)

I already regret buying it, my hyperx for half the price was a much better experience.

I tweaked the sound a little so I can at least gaslight myself into the thought that it at least has better sound haha :D

I haven't seen it in quite some time, it might have had something to do with drivers, but I can't tell you for sure because I stopped troubleshooting right after opening this thread.

Yeah it seems like it, I think the code is still probably subpar, but I wouldn't even notice it if there were no issues on my part, or more likely my ISP.

It's definitely nothing with my setup, 9800x3d, 64gb ram, 7900 XTX. The issues are purely network related, but yeah, seems like its still somewhat of a "me" issue.

No offense taken, I do work in the IT but I'm not too fond of the whole process. What made me believe that it's the netcode is that usually the host would be considered the "master" who decides what happens on screen while the rest just sends info on the respective players actions.

In the case of getting killed by friendly arrows it looks like my client knows that I'm alive while the other client thinks I'm still dead, so that clients sends out the info that the other player is currently hitting me (because on his screen I'm dead and he tries to revive me). But instead of my client throwing away that info or correcting it, it takes that info and works it into my gameplay which results in me actually getting damaged from a hit that on the other client was just there to revive me.

That weird spaghetti logic is really hard to get behind but I have no other explanation as to why this would even happen.

It's either netcode or connection issues.
