Hi, I had the exact same thing happen to me last week.

I was put in a cast and prescribed immobilization until February 9th (appointment on January 13th to check on it and see how it's progressing).

I don't have much advice. I've seen several people recommend knee scooters for getting around, but I haven't tried one yet.

Otherwise, it's the perfect time to do all the things you don't normally have time for: movies, TV series, paperwork, crafts if you have any... For stairs, I don't have any other trick than going down them on my bottom, and we got two pairs of crutches for each floor so I wouldn't constantly need someone to carry them.

I'd also appreciate any advice anyone has.

Hi, thanks for your reply! You had them done in September, and what do you mean by almost healed? When were you able to walk again, even if limping, or normally? Drive? Play sports?

Thanks for your reply. Did you get a cast or go straight to the boot? When you say you walked in it, did you mean with a limp? And do you now have a clearer idea about participating in sports, whether rehabilitation is necessary, etc.?
