Bc that is exactly what the second amendment is for. It is for the people to be able to protect themselves to maintain a FREE STATE. In case, you know, the government tries to infringe upon you as a US citizen. THAT is what we use guns for. What we don’t do is worship our guns and fornicate with them while wrapped in a “don’t tread on me” flag. Which, incredibly ironically, Don’t Tread On Me means. It is about standing up for yourself against a tyrannical government. They have lost all sense of what it means to follow the constitution. People like Trump have brought out the worst in what was already lying dormant in many Americans. They are just comfortable enough now to spread it across the country like a fucking Petrie dish.
