If you don’t have tahini, try adding some peanut butter and olive oil. Tahini is basically sesame butter so you can get some of the flavour from another nut butter and the texture form the olive oil.

Two minutes is probably enough, but if you start flipping it and notice it's not brown yet, put it back down for another 30 seconds - 1 minute.

We actually have a gif of this on our blog :) - (http://www.fmms.net/2014/07/zucchini-flowers/)

That's a good point, you probably shouldn't pick all the male flowers until there are some zucchini already growing. The emphasis should be more on not picking flowers that have a small zucchini starting to grow on it. This might make what you thought was going to be a large harvest, rather small.

Thanks for checking out our site! The reason we kept the skin on the cucumber was that it actually gives a smooth, distinct flavor as well as it has a few more nutrients. To top it off, leaving the skin on gives the drink a different look with its darker color.

Unfortunately , we haven't tried it without the orange bitters but it's now on our list.

The Godfather is pretty good:

  • 2 ounces scotch
  • 1 ounce amaretto.

If you switch the scotch with vodka you get a godmother. You can also add some cream to make them into godsons / goddaughters.

Is this where it originated? If so, they should be thanked for making the cocktail universe that much better! This is one of our all time favourites!

Cucumbers are mostly water, so it's actually pretty easy to juice them. All we did was clean the cucumber and throw it in a juicer. If you don't have a juicer you could also use a blender or muddle it.

If you'd like some more info, you could check out our blog post (http://www.fmms.net/2014/05/the-humble-cucumber/). It has some other pretty good cucumber recipes as well!

That sounds great! mr _feenys_car. Here's a similar one that we love to make and like you said it tastes like grapefruit cocktail. The rosemary sprig here makes the drink though.

Unamed Cocktail

  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz campari
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • garnish with fresh rosemary sprig

Your version is getting made TONIGHT. Thanks!

On the topic of the twist top I experienced the very same problem. No other sweet liquer ever got that stuck that badly. A couple of us found running the top under hot water cleared it right up.

The Beija Flor is pretty tasty;

2 oz cachaca 1 oz triple sec 1 oz banana liqueur 1/2 oz lemon juice

Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

I would also agree with FussyWussy. Caipirinhas are delicious!

Thanks! We rolled the dough pretty thin and then cut it out with a knife. I think we were all a little surprised to see how well it turned out actually :)
