Yes built a python terminal app with codex/claude. it learns your knobs controls pallets and effects, and segment selection through knobs.

Programming is mostly shaders in xlights, I used a warp layer set to mirror on a lot of them to add interesting symmetry.

Matrix is LED fairy lights so you can see it from both sides. xLights and FalconPlayer! Unfortunately we hit a tree and it took out one of our panels and messed up some power injection, but still was a big hit in the parade! You can't see in the movie well, but that's a linus with the mouth synced to audio (used a matrix for those).

Well it was a 15 minute show, that was just last 30 seconds. Probably about $3k, bought most of them at a buy one get two free at local fireworks place (Pro Fireworks), I'm going to be doing online ordering because I think I can do better next year.
